Kaveh tried to support his mother while hiding his own guilt and disappointment. When he reached schooling age, he enrolled in Kshahrewar, spending less time with his mother. She moved to Fontaine for peace and work, leaving Kaveh to live alone. He never admitted his loneliness, believing his suffering was his punishment.

This guilt made Kaveh deeply care for others and avoid harming anyone. He became trapped by his desire to help everyone, struggled to accept goodwill, and felt he deserved punishment. He longed for a loving home without guilt.
