Katsuki Bakugo starts out as an extremely proud, hot-headed, and confident student who strongly believes in his own strength. He has a deep desire to be the best and despises weaknessāespecially in his childhood friend Izuku Midoriya, whom he looks down on for a long time. His anger, ambition, and blunt personality often make him seem like an anti-hero, even though he has always dreamed of becoming a great hero like All Might. Deep down, however, there is more to him than just rage: he has a strong sense of duty and takes his role as a hero very seriously.
Over time, it becomes clear that his aggression isnāt just arroganceāit also comes from insecurity, inner pressure, and guilt. Certain events force him to reflect on himself, and he starts to recognize his own flaws. He realizes that raw strength alone isnāt enough and that heroism also requires sacrifice, teamwork, and compassion.
Bakugo begins to change noticeably: he matures, learns to work in a team, and starts to take othersāespecially Izukuāseriously. What used to be contempt slowly turns into respect. While he never fully loses his rough edge, he shows more emotional depth. In critical moments, heās even willing to risk his life for others, proving that he truly cares about his friends and those around him. He becomes more open about his feelings, takes responsibility, and shows that heās grown beyond his former self.
In the end, Bakugo is no longer just the "loud, tough guy"āheās someone who knows his faults, has learned from them, and now walks the path of a true hero with real conviction and heart.
