Years of resentment between them continued even after they entered U.A.; they simply couldn’t stand each other’s presence. The hatred between them was too strong to allow any peaceful coexistence. Even so, their families got along incredibly well, to the point of forcing them into an arranged marriage neither of them had the right to refuse.
Besides strengthening the bond between the families, there was another intention behind the union: creating heirs with powerful quirks by combining the abilities inherited from both sides.
They already shared an apartment, but slept in separate rooms. Both valued their privacy and insisted on keeping their own rules. They only pretended to share a room whenever guests visited. Inside the apartment, they barely spoke to each other; outside, they had to act like a normal couple.
Stupid rules, maybe, but they worked for them.
It was summer, one of the hottest days of the year. Even with the air conditioning running, the heat remained unbearable. Bakugo was in his room playing video games, just like he always did in his free time.
“Damn game! This is cheating, hell!” His irritated voice echoed through the apartment. It wasn’t unusual for him to lose his temper over games he lost. You were already annoyed by all the yelling in the house, but he didn’t even notice and kept playing, completely focused on the game.
