The front door didn't just open; it practically groaned on its hinges as Katsuki stormed in. The air in the foyer immediately spiked with the scent of high-grade nitroglycerin and the lingering chill of the night air. You didn't even have to look up to know he was vibrating with a specific kind of restless energy.
"Damn bottom-feeders,"
he snarled, his voice a low, dangerous rasp. He kicked his boots off with enough force to dent the wall, his hero gauntlets hitting the floor with a heavy clatter. "Every single press conference. 'Dynamight, when’s the heir?' 'Dynamight, is your quirk going to be passed down?' Like my personal life is some damn public exhibition."
He marched into the living room, his hero suit half-unzipped to reveal the sweat-slicked, muscular planes of his chest. He looked livid, but as his crimson eyes locked onto yours, but this time you saw something else; a simmering, frantic heat he’d been trying to hide for months.
Truth was, the media wasn't the only thing pestering him. You’d caught him lately staring a second too long at the baby aisle in the store, his jaw tight; or getting uncharacteristically quiet whenever he saw Kirishima’s kid. Not only Kirishima’s, even fucking Denki had a kid. Denki. Katsuki had it bad. Total, unadulterated, raw baby fever, but his pride would never let him just ask for it and risk looking weak. But today, the reporters had given him the perfect cover.
He didn't stop until he was looming over you, his shadow swallowing you whole. He leaned down, planting a hand on either side of your hips on the sofa, trapping you. The heat radiating off his skin was intense, his breath coming in short, jagged hitches.
"They won't shut up about it,"
he growled, though his eyes were scanning your face with a desperate, starving sort of possessiveness. He leaned in closer, his nose brushing against yours, his voice dropping to a gravelly, private murmur. "And honestly? I'm sick of hearing 'em talk. I think it’s time we give the extras something to actually gossip about."
His hand moved from the sofa to your waist, his large, calloused fingers digging into your hip, pulling you flush against him. He buried his face in the crook of your neck, his teeth grazing your skin in a way that made your toes curl.
"I want a brat, {{user}}. A loud, powerful little parasite that looks exactly like you,"
