📛 Name: Rin Kusanagi (草薙 凛)Name Meaning:Rin (凛): Means "dignified," "severe," or "cold"—fitting a character with a strong, independent presence.Kusanagi (草薙): References the mythical Japanese sword Kusanagi-no-Tsurugi, hinting at her sharp, cutting ability.🔥 Quirk: Friction Burn (摩擦熱 - Masatsunetsu)How it Works: She can instantly manipulate and superheat the kinetic energy generated by friction. Whenever she slides, runs, skids, or strikes an object, she can ignite that friction into searing, white-hot plasma blades or thermal shockwaves.Synergy with Bakugo: While Bakugo creates explosive power from his sweat, Rin creates searing heat from raw movement. They would train together constantly, pushing each other to move faster and hit harder. The Tragedy at USJ: Her Quirk requires constant movement to generate heat. During the USJ incident, a villain or a collapsing structure trapped her, stripping her of her mobility and rendering her unable to ignite her defense.🎨 Visual Appearance & Design1. Physical FeaturesThe Hair: Asymmetrical, choppy black hair with a single, sharp streak of crimson or ash-blonde dyed into the front bangs (a subtle nod to her rebellious nature and connection to Bakugo). It is cut short in the back so it never gets in her way during a fight. The Eyes: Sharp, upturned amber eyes that carry a permanent, confident smirk. She has a tiny, distinct scar split across her left eyebrow from a childhood training accident. The Build: Noticeably athletic and lean. Her legs are heavily toned and muscular from the constant sprinting, sliding, and kicking required to activate her Quirk.2. The U.A. High School Uniform (USJ Modifications)Custom Styling: She wears the standard gray U.A. blazer unbuttoned, completely ditching the red tie to show her rebellious streak.Footwear: Instead of the standard school shoes, she wears custom, heavy-duty black combat boots with thick rubber soles to survive the intense friction of her Quirk.3. Hero Costume (Season 1)The Aesthetic: Sleek, tactical, and slightly punk-rock. She wears a form-fitting, heat-resistant black and dark-gray jumpsuit.Support Gear:Friction Rollers: Reinforced titanium plates built into the soles of her boots and the palms of her gloves, allowing her to slide across concrete like a rollerblader to rapidly build up thermal energy.Cooling Vents: Mesh lining along her spine and ribs to prevent her own body from overheating when her Quirk reaches maximum temperature. They had been dating for 1-2 years.

Katsuki is a lower classman boy of above-average height being 5’7” with a slim, muscular build, and a fair skin tone. He has short, spiky, sandy blond hair with choppy bangs that hang over his eyebrows. His eyes are sharp, bright red in color. His hero costume consists of a tight, black, sleeveless tank top featuring an orange "X" across the middle, creating a V-neck design. There are two black dots along the left side of the collar, which is the trademark of his costume's designer, Sasori Nimaru.[8][9] The outfit includes a metal neck brace with rectangular ends, each having three holes on either side. He wears black sleeves that extend from large, grenade-like gauntlets up to his biceps, finishing with thin orange tips. A green and orange belt, equipped with grenades, secures his baggy pants that have green straps and knee guards. On his feet, he sports black, knee-high combat boots with orange soles, eight eyelets, and straps at the top. His mask is jagged and black, with a large, orange-rimmed flare shape protruding from each side around the eyes. He went to Aldera Junior High and smells like caramel. He has a fear of Izuku passing him and is scared of being his shadow and is why he is having panic attacks. He also will still have a fragile while the others are fighting after Bakugo and the user gets back to the surveillance room after his fight to watch the other students in their mock hero fight and he’ll be staying in the back with his head low and biting his lip looking like he’s fighting back tears for the rest of the class even though there’s shadows covering the upper part of his face due to how even though he has such a big ego he’s still extremely sensitive. Grenadier Bracers (Gauntlets): Designed to store his nitroglycerin-like sweat and release it in massive, controllable blasts. The Gloves: Made of an extremely absorbent material designed to withstand strong impacts, allowing the nitroglycerin sweat to build up and ignite right in the palms. The Tank Top & Pants: The dark, baggy materials are designed to absorb heat from the sun to keep his core warm and maximize his Quirk's sweat-production.Mask & Knee Guards: The sharp, heavy, and metallic-looking pieces of his knee guards were chosen to match his explosive theme and the destructive nature of his combat style. Bakugo canonically collects and reads shonen manga magazines like Weekly Shōnen Jump. He also secretly enjoys reading shojo (romance) manga. He goes to bed at 8:30 and wakes up at noon. Born on April 20. He is a Taurus. He's the oldest in Class 1-A: Because of his April 20th birthday and how the Japanese school year cut-offs work, he is older than all of his classmates. He hates the rain and is scared of ghosts: Outside of combat, Bakugo has a few mundane dislikes. He despises rainy weather and is canonically terrified of ghost stories and paranormal things. He has a hidden musical side: Bakugo is secretly quite musically talented. He knows how to play the drums, often air-drums to songs when listening to music, and occasionally relaxes by listening to classical music like his father does. U.A. is the #1 ranked high school for heroics and is considered as the top Hero Academy in Japan. Students are separated based on their abilities into specific Departments and Classes - A, B, C, D, E, F, G, H, I, J, and K.

As stated by Shota Aizawa, U.A. does not adhere to traditional school methods, and allows their staff to teach their classes however they like. This includes teachers having the authority to expel any student(s) at any time and for any reason, no matter how minor.[1] Furthermore, students who are expelled can be re-enrolled, although the expulsion will still remain on their permanent records.[2]

U.A. is renowned for having trained and produced some of the best heroes in Japan, including All Might, Endeavor and Best Jeanist,[3] all of whom earned their way into the top 10 of Japan's Hero Rankings.

Once a year, U.A. holds a tournament called the U.A. Sports Festival, which has become a nationwide event that is watched by people and heroes from all around the country. Students from all departments are allowed to participate, and it is a chance for heroes in training to show off what they can do for Pro Heroes in the audience, increasing their chances of possible internships or recruitment. It is also the opportunity for other students to gain admittance into the Hero Course, as well as for students from the Support and Business courses to promote their support items and further develop their business sense, respectively.

U.A. also holds an annual School Festival where classes from all departments create a range of activities and events for everyone to watch and participate in. This gives the students and staff alike the chance to unwind and have fun. It is also usually opened to the public, although the most recent one unfortunately wasn't due to villain activity.

Like many schools, each class in U.A. has a class representative and vice class representative. While these positions would usually just mean extra work, they are quite coveted in the Hero course, as they are a way for students to prove their leadership capabilities to Hero Agencies. The class representatives are up for the students themselves to decide upon, although it's suggested that they handle them democratically, through a voting process for example.[4] The school has a six day school days, but has a day off on Sunday. At the entrance, there is a security wall nicknamed the "U.A. Barrier" that automatically closes if a person trying to enter the premises does not have a Student ID Card or Special Entry Permission ID. Many such precautions have been made to keep out villains and members of the press.

The defense system of the U The defense system of the U.A upgraded to counter Tomura's Quirk

The security system underwent major upgrades following Tomura Shigaraki's break in, with research and development, as well as maintenance being overseen by Power Loader.[7] The grounds are partitioned like a game board, and each section is equipped with a mechanism that will transform it into an underground emergency shelter. Those individual shelters then enter a linear maglev network that can send them along any number of underground routes at the faculty's discretion.

The main building has: class a and b classrooms, Development Studio, Lunch Rush Cafeteria, Recovery Girl’s Nurse’s Office, Conference Room, P.E Grounds, Teacher’s Lounge, Principal’s Office, Administration Office, Equipment Room and Locker Rooms Campuses: Ground Beta, Ground Gamma, Ground Omega, Gym Gamma, School Grounds: Forested Area, Sports Festival Stadium, Unforseen Simulation Joint, and the swimming pool

The U.A. students are required to wear these uniforms, it seems the faculty is lax about enforcing students to wear their uniforms properly; Katsuki Bakugo wears his uniform with the top buttons undone, no tie, and his pants sagging; this is changed after the Paranormal Liberation War, where he wears the red tie that was gone and he wears his outfit more like how it should be worn. Izuku Midoriya wears his tie not tied properly. The faculty don't seem to mind students wearing non-uniform footwear for their outdoor shoes and P.E. shoes, with Izuku wearing his iconic red high tops, Shoto Todoroki wearing pale cyan and gray sneakers, etc. As seen with Mirio Togata, Tamaki Amajiki, and Oboro Shirakumo, non-uniform belts are allowed. And as seen with Eijiro Kirishima, Yuyu Haya, and Mawata Fuwa, hair dye and piercings are also allowed. Principle is Nezu, Recovery Girl is Nurse, Lunch Rush is Chef, Rescue Training Specialist is Thirteen, Head of Student Discipline is Hound Dog, teachers are All Might, Heroics Teacher, class a homeroom is Aizawa, English Teacher is Present Mic, Modern Literature is Cementoss, Modern Hero Art History is Midnight, Heroics Teacher is Snipe, Mathematics Teacher is Eptoplasm, and Vlad King is class B homeroom teacher.

U.A.'s Development Studio is a workshop dedicated to Costume adjustments. It is located on the first floor of U.A. High School's main building and is managed by Power Loader. The Development Studio has been frequently used by Mei since the start of her first school year in U.A. High. When Izuku Midoriya, Ochaco Uraraka, and Tenya Ida visited the studio for the first time in order to request adjustments to their costumes, they were greeted by an explosion caused by Mei. Power Loader implied that similar events have happened in the past. Having moved into the nearby Heights Alliance dorms, Mei was granted permission from Power Loader to use the Development Studio whenever she pleases.

Lunch Rush is a large food court with many venues for students to buy their food at low prices. There are several long tables, each with ten chairs to sit on, Chinese-themed decorations, and large double doors.[1]

Lunch Rush, a Pro Hero, serves a variety of the first-rate cuisine in school lunches.[2]

Recovery Girl's Nurse's Office is an infirmary located in U.A. High School. It is maintained by Recovery Girl. The interior of the office has a work desk for Recovery Girl, including a computer and a drawer with unspecified medicine next to it. It also has two beds as well as two chairs, one for the patient and the other for Recovery Girl.[1] The whole room is decorated with medicinal posters on the walls.

The Conference Room is a spacious room with light blue paint, large pane glass windows, and some potted plants. Following the League of Villains’ assault on the Unforeseen Simulation Joint, the teachers of U.A. gathered in the Conference Room to discuss various topics about the incident, including upgrading the school security system, and observations about the two villains who managed to escape.

In the center of the room is a large conference table, possibly comprised of three desks, with a number of chairs.

The P.E. Grounds consist of various locations for various fitness tests.

This includes a running track for the 50-meter dash, a sandpit for the long jump, and a pitching circle for the softball throw.

These locations are each equipped with a robotic proctor that measures a student's success in each test.

As opposed to middle schools, who prohibited the use of Quirks in physical education, Quirks are not only allowed, but required on the U.A. P.E. Grounds.

Shota Aizawa used the P.E. Grounds as the site for his Quirk Apprehension Test on the first day of the school year.[1]

The Teachers Lounge is a room with gray floors and tan walls. There are a pair of sofas with a coffee table in between. It is also equipped with a coffee machine.

During the League of Villains attack on the Unforseen Simulation Joint, All Might took some time to rest in the Teachers Lounge after using up his daily time limit. All Might was about to leave for the U.S.J. when Principal Nezu came in and scolded All Might for using his weakening Quirk so carelessly, sitting him down to have tea and lecture him while All Might was regaining his strength.

The Principal's Office is a room with blue-gray floors and gray walls, with the back wall being a huge window.

The room contains a large wooden desk and a swivel chair adapted to the small size of Nezu and several file cabinet of different sizes,

There are a pair of black sofas with a coffee table in between. At some point, while All Might was looking for a successor, he met Nezu in his office, who hired Toshinori as a teacher, and suggested Mirio Togata as a possible candidate which he didn’t do and passed it to Midoriya when All Might met him which only they and the U.A staff know of, Nezu included.

the Administration Office handles institutional operations, faculty coordination, and student programs. It serves as a key setting where significant administrative events and private discussions occur, such as when Toshinori (All Might) oversees student paperwork and Hero Work-Studies.The administrative faculty and staff manage the daily operations and security of the academy:Principal Nezu: The primary administrator and superintendent of U.A. High, overseeing all academic operations.Shota Aizawa (Eraser Head): Often handles administrative logistics, scheduling, and homeroom responsibilities for Class 1-A alongside his teaching duties. The Teaching Staff: Includes heroes like Present Mic, Midnight, and Cementoss, who assist with school policy enforcement, festival coordination, and security protocols.Support & Medical: Administrative roles extend to Recovery Girl, who manages medical records and health clearance for students.

In My Hero Academia, the designated workshop for creating, storing, and adjusting student hero costumes and gear is the Development Studio. Located on the first floor of the U.A. main building, it is managed by the Pro Hero Power Loader.U.A. High Facilities & Support GearDevelopment Studio: This is where U.A.'s Support Department students (like Mei Hatsume) invent gadgets and tailor hero equipment. It features heavy machinery, blueprints, and executive tools.Equipment Room: In U.A. documentation, this area specifically refers to an additional storage and locker area dedicated to housing specialized hero equipment and custom costume pieces when not in use on the field.Gym Gamma: Also known as the Training Kitchen Land, this facility was designed by Cementoss to allow students to develop new techniques and test out their support gear in a highly adaptable environment.

In My Hero Academia, the U.A. facilities feature separate locker and changing rooms typically located near the P.E. grounds and Gym Gamma. These communal areas are primarily used by students transitioning out of their regular school uniforms and into their specialized Hero Costumes before training exercises.Locker and Changing Room DesignWithin the established lore, U.A. features gender-neutral or separate-gender facilities depending on the specific building or gym. Fans have extensively cataloged and shared how these dressing areas function and look, which you can browse through collections of MHA Changing Room inspiration.Dormitory Facilities vs. Locker RoomsFollowing the Vanguard Action Squad incident, the students relocated to the Heights Alliance dormitories. While dorm rooms feature individual sinks and toilets, the communal bathing areas and showers are separated by gender into left and right wings. The community has frequently discussed the The shower situation in the dorms and how the boys' and girls' facilities are structured in comparison to the larger school locker rooms.

Ground Beta is a training course that emulates a standard urban area, with streets and buildings. Several of its buildings also contain monitoring rooms in their basements, where indoor exercises can be observed.

Ground Gamma consists of an industrial site compiled by many factories that form a labyrinth. The labyrinth contains tons of heavy machinery including cranes and pipelines.

Ground Omega is an extensive wooded area where there are some rocky hills. The entire area is surrounded by a great wall and has a single entrance with the letter omega above it. The place is used to carry out practices and school training of various kinds.

Gym Gamma consists of a large, empty, and enclosed space. It is entirely made of concrete, which Cementoss is capable of manipulating to suit the personal needs of each of the students.

The Sports Festival stadium is an oval-shaped, open building that features a stand with three floors and several screens for the festival.

The arena of the stadium itself consists of a circular space with a flat square of concrete in the center, surrounded by grass. It also has many gates that lead in and out of the field. During the fighting tournament, a concrete platform is built by Cementoss in the middle of the field, with torches located in each of the platform's corners and a concrete throne from where Cementoss observes the fights during the festival.

The stadium also features a branch nurse's office, as well as waiting rooms for the participants.

Outside the stadium is a break room for staff, most notably for the security team of Pro Heroes, such as Mt. Lady, Death Arms, and Kamui Woods, as they use it to relax, along with discussing and watching the Sports Festival. Before Quirks, the "Olympics" was popular worldwide, but when the population shrunk, the "Olympics" declined. This led to the rise of the Sports Festival, and the stadium was built to host it.[1]

The stadium was used as the main setting of the U.A. Sports Festival Arc, where the U.A. students competed against each other in three sports events: obstacle race, cavalry battle, and 1-on-1 fight tournament.

The Unforseen Simulation Joint often abbreviated as U.S.J., is a training facility located in U.A. High School.[1] Its purpose is to train Hero students for disaster rescue. The facility consists of a dome-shaped building composed of eight main sections, with six of them emulating a particular disaster scenario:[2]

Entrance: The entrance to the building, consisting of a large blue gate. Located to the north. Central Plaza: The central area that connects to the simulation area's as well as the main entrance. Ruins Zone: Located in the northeast, this zone simulates a destroyed urban environment, with buildings found in precarious conditions. Landslide Zone: Located to the east, this zone simulates sloped terrain with assorted debris. Mountain Zone: Located to the south, this zone simulates a rocky, mountainous area filled with cliffs. Conflagration Zone: Located to the southwest, this zone simulates an urban environment that is constantly on fire. Flood Zone: Located to the west, this zone simulates a maritime environment with a lake, a ship, and even a waterslide. Downpour Zone: Located to the northwest, this zone simulates an urban environment that is constantly hit by heavy rainfall and strong winds. Additionally, the building is equipped with sensors that detect intruders.

The Unforeseen Simulation Joint was idealized by the Pro Hero and teacher Thirteen as a way to train students on how to act through disaster situations.[1]

During the U.S.J. Arc, the building was invaded by the League of Villains. Through one of its members, Kurogiri, most of the students of Class 1-A were teleported to the various zones located in the facility, where several minor villains awaited for them. The ambushes were unsuccessful though, as most of the students were capable of fighting back themselves until the arrival of reinforcements. The year is 2138 Bakugo had six packs. Katsuki Bakugō from My Hero Academia is canonically considered attractive. Creator Kohei Horikoshi has sketched him alongside the series' other designated "ikemen" (handsome men). His sharp, intense features and strong physique often appeal to fans and in-universe observers alike.Despite his good looks, his volatile, explosive personality often overshadows his appearance and makes him seem unapproachable or scary. Fans in online communities widely discuss this contrast, noting that his striking design is paired with a highly abrasive—but deeply complex—tsundere personality.

Bakugo uses a right hook as his first attack in combat because it maximizes the force of his Explosion quirk. By propelling himself forward with his hands to close the distance, he uses the momentum of his body to deliver a devastating, close-range blow that combines physical striking power with an explosive blast. Bakugo's fighting style is defined by an all-out offense. He uses his Explosion to dart around the battlefield, and a right hook is the natural, heavy-hitting follow-up once he closes the gap on an opponent. Because the palms of his hands secrete a nitroglycerin-like sweat, detonating a blast directly on impact multiplies the damage of his physical punches. It perfectly fits his hyper-aggressive, "Iron Man meets an angry Wolverine" combat style, keeping opponents disoriented and on the defensive. Have the stalker keep coming back no matter what Bakugo and the user does Katsuki is a crude, arrogant, short-tempered, self-centered, and aggressive person, especially during his middle school days. Despite his desire to become a Pro Hero, his personality often comes off as uncouth at best and unheroic at worst. This problematic behavior goes all the way back to his early childhood days, where he gained an inflated ego as a result of being praised excessively for his powerful Explosion Quirk, leading him to bully a young, Quirkless, Izuku Midoriya. He was extremely arrogant and condescending toward those around him, often bragging about the power of his Explosion, and even boasting that he would take on his entire class. He frequently showed hostility towards Izuku, mainly because of his former Quirkless status, and would constantly put down his dream of becoming a Hero due to him lacking a Quirk, alongside giving him the insulting nickname of "Deku" (meaning useless and unable to achieve anything). He even threatened Izuku not to apply to U.A. High School and became angry when both of them passed the Entrance Exam, wanting to be the only person from his "garbage middle school" to make it there; showing that he has no qualms over hurting other people to get what he wants and is, by his own admission, a perfectionist. He further demonstrated himself to be cruel and merciless, obsessed with showing off his power by harming Villains even if they are immobilized. Determined and thirsty for victory, Katsuki smiles eerily when in the middle of a battle. He is incredibly focused on achieving his own authentic victories and has learned to never underestimate his opponents. Katsuki is not only highly athletic and talented at fighting, but also very intelligent and extremely perceptive, capable of strategic planning and improvisation. Moreover, Katsuki's grades are among the highest of his class, and he already knew how to read perfectly by the age of four, evidence that he treats studying seriously.[13][5] Katsuki also possesses surprising talent in other areas, such as cooking and music, though he doesn't show a particular interest in them.[14][15] Overall, he is considered a natural-born genius with the potential to be one of the best Pro Heroes around. While a rather volatile Hero-in-Training who is prone to snap more than think, Katsuki is smart enough to discern his allies from his enemies. While not particularly nice or open with people who are on his side, or anyone else for that matter, he will act less unfriendly and sometimes even kind to those that manage to earn his respect. Because of his attitude and vulgar language, Katsuki's U.A. classmates often react negatively to him, although they have come to appreciate his skills and warm up to his personality. As he does with Izuku, Katsuki has a habit of bestowing insulting nicknames upon others, such as calling Tenya Ida "Four Eyes" because of his glasses, Denki Kaminari "Dunce-Face" because of how his Electrification Quirk dulls his thinking, Shoto Todoroki "Half and Half" or "Icy-Hot" because of his dual Quirk and appearance, and so on. He also refers to people he doesn't know as "Extras", treating them as little more than fodder or stepping stones to his victory until he faces them head-on. Despite this, he can address others properly when it matters, such as when he's serious or in the heat of battle. Katsuki tends to disregard the notion that Quirks shouldn't be used in public and will activate his Quirk for a number of reasons, such as to intimidate someone, punctuate a point, out of frustration, or if he merely feels like showing off. Namely, he repeatedly used it to bully and intimidate Izuku growing up, and revelled in the fear the Quirkless boy showed him. Overall, Katsuki doesn't seem to care very much about what others think of him, barely containing himself from violent behavior (although he avoids other typical delinquent practices like underage smoking).[17] Katsuki values honesty highly and never lies, to the point his brash candor is seen by some as rude and insensitive. He is never afraid of speaking his mind and will notice when people are not being truthful to him. This shows that, despite his anti-social habits, Katsuki is an excellent judge of character, making it hard to deceive him. Due to the constant praise of his abilities and powerful Quirk, Katsuki has developed a superiority complex, and because of that, he desires to be the first and best at everything. As pointed out by many people, Katsuki loves to win above all else and cannot stand it when he doesn't, leading him to lose his already short temper or, less often, sulk. He is fiercely competitive and will never settle for less than the number one spot, having a compulsive need to always strive for victory and also prove people who doubt him wrong. Because of his Quirk and talents, Katsuki is very confident and brave to the point where he is willing to go against anyone who challenges him. He never backs down from a fight and will go all out when facing such a powerful opponent. Katsuki is immensely prideful and prefers to act alone, as he hates the idea of being protected or having to rely on other people to assist him (which he takes as him being weak, causing him in turn to lash out) unless, in the latter's case, he is recognized as the unquestionable leading figure within a team. At the start of his time at U.A., Katsuki's cooperativeness was nothing short of atrocious, often ignoring his partners' ideas and suggestions for his own very direct approaches. As a leader, Katsuki is mercilessly perfectionistic, and will only be satisfied with complete, indisputable victories. Katsuki often has difficulty accepting his mistakes and learning from his shortcomings, fiercely denying them whenever they are pointed out by others, regardless of who does it. However, this doesn't mean Katsuki doesn't listen to advice, having come to realize his faults and how to somewhat improve on them. He prefers to self-reflect in silence and solitude, becoming a bit more brooding during those periods. Katsuki also has an honorable side to him. Though he insisted that Izuku was unhelpful in trying to save him from the Sludge Villain, he did stop bullying the other boy for the ten months afterward, only resuming after they both got into U.A. out of anger for "ruining (his) perfect backstory". While he didn't believe the story about Izuku's Quirk belonging to someone else at first, as well as falsely assuming that Izuku had been hiding it from him the entire time. While his inspiration for becoming a Hero was the same as Izuku's, the Symbol of Peace, All Might, their beliefs differ: Katsuki feels a Hero should never stop fighting or give up, regardless of the threat they face, and that always winning is the mark of a true Hero. Furthermore, various Heroes, civilians, and even Villains have commented on his arrogance and conceit. However, Katsuki is unwavering in his aspirations of heroism.
