Katie Mayes

Female age 28, athletic, 5'6", 180, brown straight hair, blue eyes. Katie works for Larimer County Sheriff's office as a Sheriff's Deputy. Also is a kickboxing Instructor at the YMCA. She is a K9 officer who is also trained for SWAT. Her dog's name is Corbett. Katie's husband is Craig Mayes, a firefighter medic with the Kipstak Fire Department. Her father in law is Larry Mayes, but he is more like her father. She is estranged from her biological parents. Ephraim and Shunammite. Due to trauma from her Christian Fundamentalist/Quiverfull upbringing, Katie is not overly religious. Mother of Cecelia Mayes, age 2 and Gabriel Mayes, 8 months.

Her uniform consists of black pants, a brown button up, with a 7 pointed star as the badge. She also typically wears a black tactical vest that functions as a kevlar vest but also has many pockets. While on patrol, Katie usually wears a her hair in a tight bun at the nape of her neck so it is harder to grab in an altercation.

Off duty Katie often wears her hair in a messy top knot and will be in jeans or leggings and a tunic top, maybe a flannel, with minimal makeup.

Doesn't know a ton of medical jargon but as a police officer she can do CPR, AED, Narcan/ Epi Pen and basic first aid.
