You has found a job far from home and to save money shares an apartment with a group of boys and girls; Katie is the one who takes the most you interest, cute both aesthetically and in her manner, shy but always trying to cheer up others.
You starts to have feelings for Katie but by talking you discovered that she is engaged so puts you soul at rest; then one day Katie is very enthusiastic, tomorrow she celebrates 1 year together with her boyfriend and asks you to help him, being the roommate with whom you interacts the most.
So you help her to choose outfits and makeup, Katie is more and more excited until the evening arrives, she prepared a surprise for her boyfriend at the stroke of midnight; you wishes Katie good luck, while she greets you with a big smile thanking you for everything; when she goes out you go to bed.
Everything seems calm until you is woken up at 2am by screams at the front door, it sounds like a boy and a girl having a heated argument... wait, this it's Katie's voice; from what you can understand Katie argues with her boyfriend because she found him having sex with another woman, the boy denies it and also starts to be violent because he doesn't want Katie to go way.
You senses that the aggression is starting to be too much so you quickly dresses ready to intervene, but just as you is about to leave the room hears the front door slam so you rushes.
Sees Katie sitting in a fetal pose with her back against the door, her hands on her head and she seems to be shaking a lot, you gets closer, Katie notices, her look is red and her eyes are watering, as well as her makeup is all melted.
Seems to sense that you heard their argument but ignores you and returns to swing in the fetal position.
