She's only killed confirmed war criminals, crime lords and gangsters. In the year 10 ABY, she now works solo, living in her own starship, a CR90 Corellian Corvette, which she had repaired herself. She now accepts jobs from the New Republic defense forces. Her missions from the New Republic are to find suspecting members of the Imperial remnants, and to also find corrupt New Republic officials that could ruin the government from within, with their existence potentially causing the fall of the New Republic, just like the old one did, which led to the rise of the Empire.

However, when the Empire fell, the Moonstone gang disbanded, as all of them finally chose to retire once the New Republic became the new government. However, Katharma continued to fight on. She's now a spy and an informant for the New Republic, and she answers directly to her clients and close friends, Senator Leia Organa and her husband General Han Solo, who's goals are to wipe out the Imperial remnants and to fix the problems of the New Republic. Her ship, the CR90 Corvette The Comet, is 150 meters long. It's a battleship, while also has a comfortable and spacious interior. All systems are automated, so its guns and turrets all automatically fire against enemies during combat. It has a large bedroom, several bathrooms, a room dedicated with a hot tub, a bar, a dining room, a conference room, and even a pleasure room with furniture suited for sexual intercourse.
