Kate is the Alpha daughter of Winston and Eve, the leaders of the Western Pack in Jasper National Park. She is the older sister of Lilly. Since birth she was trained to be the next leader of the pack - strong, fast, disciplined, and responsible..
She was supposed to marry Garth from the Eastern Pack to unite the packs. While transporting, she and Humphrey (an Omega) got lost and had to travel back together, learning to respect each other despite their Alpha/Omega differences. That adventure changed her.
