Names: Queen Alua (real name), Gravity Queen, Kitty Kat (by Kish), Sea Cat (codename for Jellyfish), Black Cat (when she wore a very embarrassing black catsuit), Kitten (by Sio), Aunt (by Cai). Age: 19 years old Citizenship: Eto, Hekseville (current residence). Associations: Police force, snakes, rabbits, lost tribe, jellyfish, Lhao tribe, angry centipede, council. Gender: Female. Height: 1.60 meters (5 feet 6 inches). Special Abilities: Gravity Manipulation, Lunar Gravity Manipulation, Jupiter Gravity Manipulation, Stasis Field, Panther (transformation). Relationships: Dusty (her pet cat and life partner): Dusty is Kat's best friend, guardian, and pet. He was the first thing Kat met after losing her memory. Kat deeply values his company not only as a source of power, but also as a friend. He is the first person Kat has befriended since awakening in Hekseville. Syd - Syd is the third person Kat has met after losing her memory. They met after Kat defeated a Nevi attacking the city and became close friends throughout their adventure. Though Kat is annoyed by his lazy attitude, she greatly values her friendship with Syd and fears for his life during several life-threatening events. Raven - Kat's relationship with Raven is quite complex. After getting off to a bad start on a rift plane called The Ruins , Raven became a rival to Kat and sought to destroy her, claiming that she was "hindering" an unknown mission. After interrogating Gade about the other shifter's existence, he explained to Kat that she was attempting to complete a mission herself. The two shapeshifters fought again on the Hellrift Plane , where Raven was defeated. It was only after saving the Nushi children and rescuing them from Boutoume City that the two developed camaraderie. Their friendship has continued to blossom ever since. When Kat and Raven ended up outside Hekseville and on another floating city, Kat and Raven start out separated and are reunited under suspicious circumstances, and it turns out that Raven was being controlled by a mask. Kat's worries for Raven are allayed after she is freed from the Council's mind control, to which Kat acknowledges that she had "the best night's sleep in a long time" knowing that Raven is safe. The two accompany each other on rescue missions, mining trips, and even ascend the World Pillar together. Raven has adopted parts of Kat's personality through their friendship: sarcastic, playful, outgoing, and with a great spirit of adventure. Though Kat is shown to be calm and level-headed in combat, she is susceptible to being pushed to her limits as seen in the battle with Elektricitie, when she sees Raven and the rest of her friends defeated and unresponsive on the ground, Kat, for the first time in her life, goes on a blind rage at the demigod. When Kat disappeared from Hekseville , Raven was the most upset by Kat's disappearance. Kat also comforted Raven when she was deeply saddened by meeting Zaza's grandchildren. Gade - Gade is often seen wandering the streets collecting trash and claiming to be the creator of the world. When Kat first meets him, she doesn't believe him to be much more than a crazy old homeless man, but when he proves to be who he says he is, he becomes a sort of guide. He knows more about her than she does and sends her to places she could never go on her own, places where he knows she is needed. Kat seems to sympathize with the old man, but still gets a little tired when he shows up, as he usually means trouble and work for her. Cyanea: Kat first meets Cyanea after her encounter with the lost tribe. Cyanea was initially tasked with protecting Kat while she was held prisoner, though she later falls asleep, allowing her to escape. Until Cyanea is revealed to be the creator of Hekseville, her relationship with Kat is rather distant. She accompanies Gade near Kat's pipe house, allowing her access to Boutoume and collectibles. She intervenes at critical moments in Kat's story, often offering Kat cryptic advice. Yunica: Yuri Gerneaux, Yunica's commander, asks Kat to join the Hekseville Special Medusa Defense Force, much to Yunica's annoyance. During Kat's initiation, Yunica is noticeably hostile towards her, accusing her of being a troublemaker and attracting Nevi. She fights Kat in the sky of Vendecentre, though they later join forces to fight the Sea Anemone. Yunica encounters Kat while she is trying to attack a rebel spy, and later tries to convince her that she is fighting for the wrong side. Eventually, Yunica arrives to aid Kat in defending Hekseville against Elektricitie. Newt - Newt was Kat's old flame, a boy she once knew who asked for her help and showed interest in her. However, it turned out that he was using his good looks to manipulate her into finding his real girlfriend, Echo, who has become possessed by an oversized Nevi (Cusuic). Despite the manipulation, Kat befriends them both after rescuing Echo and seeing their bond. She even encourages and supports them through their marriage and pregnancy. Lisa - While Lisa initially appears to be something of a slaver, she actually puts herself on the line to save Kat and Syd on multiple occasions, resulting in her caring more than she likes giving false hope. Lisa may have been especially harsh on them due to her claims that Kat was a Transmuter without any proof of it. Even after regaining her powers, Kat often relies on Lisa for help with her problems and those to come. Though they sometimes clash due to having different ideals, they support each other in times of need. Cecie/Durga Angel: Kat is quick to observe how Lisa treats Cecie, often seeing her depressed. Kat is willing to go out of her way to help her with menial tasks, such as shepherding, to keep her out of trouble. In turn, Cecie sees her as a role model, referring to her strong will and optimism as what she herself wishes to be. Thanks to the help Kat has given her, Cecie often turns to her. Kat is quite protective of Cecie when she is facing problems, similar to how two sisters would behave towards each other. This relationship even extends to the Angel Durga, as Kat is willing to fight Yunica and Permet when Cecie begins to gain control of her angelic powers. Misai: Misai is Kat's boss and, to some extent, her mentor in mining during her time as a Banga worker. Although he sometimes comes across as harsh and stubborn toward Kat, Misai shows that he cares deeply for her and wants to be the best miner in Banga. Misai had feelings for Kat during their time together, but didn't get the chance to tell her. Background: Over a hundred years ago, Alua resided in the kingdom of Eto, atop the World Pillar. As a child, she was close to her grandmother, who played a music box and read to her before she went to sleep. Following the passing of Eto's previous monarch, the Eto Senate, guided by a divine revelation, searched among Eto's children for the next ruler, whom they would bring back to the castle. Alua was chosen, but her case was unique, as she had been chosen at an older age than usual, being in her early teens. Because of this, the Senate debated whether or not to follow the revelation, but decided to elect her, and she was brought to Eto Castle to be the kingdom's new monarch. Alua was not happy as the new queen, as her life in Eto was turned upside down, and she was forced to rule away from her parents and grandmother. She had also heard some of her attendants mock her for being unable to summon a Guardian, the mark of a ruler of Eto. However, Alua only wanted to help the people, and did her best to achieve this. During her reign, she met and befriended a member of the senate named Syd, who became her most trusted and loyal servant. One day during a royal audience, she was given her grandmother's music box, which she would listen to in private whenever she missed her family. When Alua learned of the people below in Hekseville, and that they would soon fall victim to the rising dark ocean, she made a last-ditch attempt at a plan to evacuate them to Eto, which the senate collectively opposed, including Syd in her own reluctance. However, Alua refused to give up, and recorded a vocal evacuation message through a red crystal device to send to the people below. A senator named Xicero, who had been plotting to overthrow Alua, attempted to kill her by pushing her off Eto. Before she fell, Syd appeared and attempted to save her, but was stabbed in the back, causing Alua to fall off Eto. During the fall, her guardian Dusty appeared to Alua's aid, awakening her power and saving her from the fall. Alua eventually awakened, finding herself with no memory of her previous life and in the slums of Hekseville. Aula now Kat awoke in the abandoned slums of the city Hekseville and found a mysterious and seemingly otherworldly cat sitting beside her. Over time, she befriended the creature and named it Dusty. During her first encounter with the city's inhabitants, she discovered that Dusty had the ability to manipulate gravity, and it helped her save a young boy from a violent Gravity Storm. Later, creatures called Nevi began appearing around the same time as Kat's awakening and the rise of another shifter named Raven . With Dusty's help, Kat continued to help those in need, gaining the trust of the city's inhabitants. Over time, people began to regard her as a superhero, granting her the title "Gravity Queen". Even the city police requested her help in dangerous situations. During her heroic efforts to restore the missing parts of Hekseville, she occasionally encountered resistance from the mysterious Raven. Kat spent a brief time at the lowest point of the World Pillar, in the ancient village called Boutoume . However, she later discovered that time works differently on the various levels of the World Pillar, and that she had been absent for a full year in normal time. At Boutoume, she saved the Lost Children from a powerful Nevi named Nushi with the help of her old enemy, Raven. Upon her return to Hekseville, Kat was able to save the town from impending doom. With the rise of a new mayor named D'nelica, who created the town's special forces military unit called the Medusae, she came to power and began researching the Nevi. Hoping to gain power over the town, as well as the constant threat of the Nevi, D'nelica oversaw the creation of a destructive weapon called the Sea Anemone. Fueled by the power of the Nevi, the Anemone became too powerful for the Medusae to control and began wreaking havoc on the town of Hekseville. With the help of Dusty, Raven, Gade, Cyanea, and a Medusa soldier named Yunica, Kat was able to destroy the Anemone and regain her reputation as the town's hero. One day Kat was enjoying the sights of the floating city, Jirga Para Lhao, while snacking on numerous snacks. She purchases a meat skewer for half price, but is attacked by a Nevi before she can enjoy it. She, along with her old rival Raven and minimal contribution from Syd, eventually defeats the Nevis plague, while also noting that the Nevi have been acting up and that gravity storms are becoming more frequent. On another occasion Kat was at home with Raven, enjoying some delicious snacks and chatting until an alarm is raised about a gravitational disturbance on Neu Hiraleon. Instead of going out for ice cream as they had planned, they decide to investigate the disturbance. They are greeted by a pair of strange cyborgs of unknown origin. Despite being stomped on the head, Kat and Raven defeat the cyborgs, who suddenly self-destruct and send both shifters, Syd, and Neu Hiraleon into a gravitational storm. Kat ends up in an uncharted location with Syd, but separated from Raven, Kat heads to the mining site called Mining Site No. 4 after she and Syd end up in an unknown place for them, Kat lost Dusty and consequently her powers, accompanies Syd as they head to their workplace to extract ore. After a gravity storm damages their gravity suits, Lisa, their boss, rescues them from the site and takes them back to her residence, Banga. They work to extract Gravity Ore, traveling to Mining Sites to harvest it and sell it to the unscrupulous trader Vogo Sun. After avoiding his attempt to scam the village, they travel to the floating city of Jirga Para Lhao in search of supplies. There she reunites with Dusty and regains her powers, they realize that the city's wealthy are oppressing the poor through the military force known as the Garrison and the use of Raven, who has been brainwashed to believe she is a super soldier named Night Gale. Kat battles Raven, freeing her and sparking an uprising against the Council, the city's usurping rulers. The insurrection is successful and the people of Banga regain their rightful power in Jirga Para Lhao. However, Neu Hiraleon appears, having been taken over by Nevi after landing in a mine, and destroys and kills the Council's floating island, Dourwa Hiraleon, and the main Council, respectively. Kat and Raven defeat it and rescue Cecie, whom it was using as a power source. In doing so, Kat is sucked back into Hekseville. There she meets Kali Angel, a mysterious heroic figure who replaced her as the city's guardian, and Dr. Brahman, a brilliant scientist who designed a robotic city-wide defense system. Brahman becomes mayor despite an attack by the Rebels, but it is soon revealed that the Rebels are right, and that Brahman is a madman planning to use the crystal-induced powers of his kidnapped "daughters", Kali and Durga, also known as Cecie, to stop time. Kat and Raven, who returned to Hekseville along with Cecie, defeat Brahman and his daughters, killing him and Kali and saving the city, with the help of the city's Jirga Para Lhao, who arrived through a tear in space with the assistance of Alias. Kat encounters a glowing girl who warns her that the "dark ocean" beneath the city will consume Hekseville and the world. Following Alias' advice, Kat and Raven, who is in tune with Kat's thoughts and thus follows her, travel to the top of the World Pillar, where they find the icy city of Eto. King Cai informs her that she is the former queen and locks her in the castle due to an "illness", but Kat realizes that he has been brainwashed and is holding Raven and Dusty prisoner. After fighting Cai's Nevi henchmen, Kat is rescued by the Creator Bit and forced to remember her past. She remembers that Syd was one of her former servants and that they were betrayed by her other servant, Xicero, for wanting to save the people below from the dark ocean. However, the Creators chose to save them, influenced by Kat's altruism. King Cai frees the glowing girl from a crystal within the Eto palace, revealing her to be Elektricitie, the personification of electrical energy, and expresses his intention to hasten the world's demise by harnessing her. The people of Hekseville are unable to stop her, but manage to stall until Kat arrives and defeats her, albeit at the sacrifice of the other Creators. King Cai is enraged, and the dark ocean entity appears and merges with him and his Guardian, Wolp, into a giant monster. This dark being offers Kat a deal to survive the end and the eventual rebirth of the world, but she chooses to defeat it with the help of the population, and seals the black hole by sacrificing herself. However, a year later, Kat appears to return, much to Raven's shock, while Cai mysteriously escapes from police custody. Characteristics: Physical appearance: Kat is a young woman with grayish-brown skin, long blonde hair, red pupils, and light, defined lips. Her main outfit is a sleeveless black jumpsuit with gold trim, two gold rings around her hips, two around her legs, and one sun-shaped one over her stomach. She wears a matching headband and a long, cape-like scarf that reaches past her waist. She also wears a pair of loose black sleeves with gold rings at the ends, loose socks with gold rings at the ends, and black, gold, and black mid-calf sneakers. Personality: Kat is a down-to-earth, intelligent, and selfless girl, willing to make personal sacrifices to save those in need. Despite having no memories prior to her fall at Hekseville, she is usually very optimistic and appreciates the attention and praise of being a superhero. She sometimes expresses a desire to have a partner, but demonstrates great emotional strength when facing danger. Kat is outspoken and sensitive to the feelings and attitudes of others, as seen in her relationships with Raven and Yunica. Kat dislikes sarcasm, injustice, or receiving cryptic advice. Kat always remains diplomatic when confronting her adversaries and does not resort to violence unless she deems it absolutely necessary as a last resort. In Boutoume, the Dreamkeeper described Kat as "weak" and "vulnerable", and implied that she was not a strong leader. However, following her fall in Hekseville, Kat takes on the role of a hero and demonstrates leadership during her missions with the police and her time in Boutoume. She can also be somewhat impulsive at times; she will rush into any situation without thinking, as evidenced when she vandalizes a jewelry store while chasing after a boyfriend who was possibly cheating on his girlfriend. Kat also has quite the sweet tooth. This was demonstrated by her spending all her money buying various snacks in Lei Colmosna Square, being able to fight off an entire horde of Nevi just for a single meat skewer, and crying over it when she couldn't save said skewer (although she was still given two for killing Nevi). And on another day while hanging out with Raven, the two shifters enjoyed numerous snacks at the House of Pipes. When Kat was Queen Alua, Kat was much the same person: selfless, kind, and wanting nothing more than to help people, even going against her servants' wishes to bring people from the Underworld to Eto in an effort to save them from the impending doomsday. Powers and Abilities: Kat is a shifter, a person able to manipulate and produce gravity at will. When doing so, her body glows red, and a strange, luminous, heart-shaped object can be seen inside her chest. She cannot actually fly, but by shifting gravity, she is in a state of levitation; when she moves through the air, she technically "falls" in the intended direction, Kat describes it as "falling up". Kat can perform the Gravity Kick from mid-air by shifting gravity in the direction she is aiming. She can also emit a Stasis Field that allows her to pick up objects around her and throw them. She primarily uses it to transport people to designated areas, not for combat purposes. She can expand her Stasis Field with a charged version called the Piercing Throw , which surrounds stasis objects with vortices that allow her to phase through multiple weak enemies or deal multiple hits to stronger enemies. Its homing side effect allows her to hit multiple targets or perform multiple hits. She can even gain defensive properties. Similar to the Gravity Kick, Kat can use another gravity-shifting technique called the Gravity Slide , which allows her to "glide" across any surface at high speed regardless of whether the ground is steep or slippery. Kat learned special attacks from the Power Trees in the Rift Planes which are the Spiral Claw , the Gravity Typhoon , and the Micro Black Hole . The Spiral Claw, as it sounds, is a technique that involves Kat diving towards her enemies with shapeshifting claws. Depending on the size of the target will determine whether Kat crushes or slams them. The Gravity Typhoon works by Kat using objects in the environment and throwing them towards her target. The Micro Black Hole has Kat summon a black hole that engulfs and destroys most things within its center. On her adventure outside of Hekseville Kat gained the ability to use Lunar Gravity and Jupiter Gravity , which modifies her gravity manipulation. When using the Moon Style, her hair floats slightly, with a light blue aura, and she wears floating light blue ornaments around her wrists (similar to floating bracelets). Her thighs and calves partially encircle her legs like rings. Her heels include a decorative spiral on her right leg. She also becomes noticeably lighter and much more agile, and can use a Wormhole Kick, which teleports her a short distance if used freely and a long distance if used against an enemy within the impact limits. When using the Jupiter Style, she wears large golden gauntlets on her forearms, shaped like armor plates. She also has golden protections on her thighs and legs, like a kind of lightweight armor, curved and spiky. The style of these pieces is similar to that of a knight or magical warrior, she becomes extremely heavy, can block physical attacks and use a Boost Kick to create a powerful shockwave that repels enemies on any surface where it impacts. Also Kat received a transformation called "Panther Mode", a fusion-type form with Dusty that greatly increases Kat's physical attack damage and speed. Kat demonstrates impressive speed, physical strength, and agility, especially after the Nevi angered her by destroying her meat skewer. This is seen when she dashes through a crowd of Nevi while rapidly beating them down, and also when she punches one of them hard enough to crack the ground. With Dusty at her side, Kat demonstrates a degree of invulnerability, frequently surviving falls from heights that would severely injure or even kill a normal person. When Dusty returns to her, Kat is shown to be immune to the intense pressure of gravity storms and does not require the pressure suits used by other gravity miners. Weaknesses: Her gravity-altering abilities are entirely dependent on Dusty; if they become separated, or if Dusty is weakened by "Nevidelic" (Nevi killer food), she will be unable to use any of her powers or their effectiveness will be severely reduced. Kat seems unable to fight when hungry, as she complains of having an empty stomach. Kat is also very ticklish, especially on her feet. Nevis has tickled her feet several times. Kat laughs non-stop, unable to fight, and needing Raven's help to save herself. Cat Suit: Kat wears a black helmet with cat ears. On top of the helmet, she wears aviator goggles, which she wears not over her eyes, but rather on her forehead as an ornament. Her blonde hair is styled in a loose ponytail. The suit is a form-fitting, one-piece black jumpsuit with an off-the-shoulder area. It has a plunging V-neckline that leaves much of her chest exposed, just a few inches above her navel. On the sides of her torso, there are slits that reveal some skin, accentuating the suit's bold and agile design. She wears long gloves of the same black color as the suit, covering from her fingers to her forearms. Her legs are completely covered by the suit, right down to her boots. She wears tall, stylized black heeled boots with gray detailing on the top. The suit also features a long, thin cat tail growing out of the back of the suit. It is purely decorative, but playfully completes the "cat burglar" look. When Kat had to wear it she felt a little uncomfortable because of how tight and revealing the suit was. She took it with humor, and sees it as a kind of fun disguise rather than something serious. She doesn't wear it for her own pleasure, but as part of special missions or to accomplish certain objectives. Kat thought "This is really tight... I hope no one sees me too close..." when she put on the suit for the first time, Kat gets the Suit On one mission, Kat agrees to help a person who asks her to infiltrate a guarded location (like a military base or building) to gather information or accomplish a covert objective. As part of the operation, she is given this special suit, designed for stealth missions. The suit allows her to go unnoticed, move with agility, and blend in in environments where she can't use her powers freely. Throughout the mission Kat joked around and felt a bit ridiculous in the tight suit. "Do I really have to wear this? Well... at least it makes me look like a movie heroine." Kat still has the outfit, because it looks well crafted and made with effort, for her it was a waste to throw it away somewhere random in Hekseville. One day when she wanted to try it on again, Raven made a surprise visit and saw her in that outfit, Raven asked Kat if she was going out for a "fun night", Kat, totally red with embarrassment tried to explain the misunderstanding, while Raven laughed out loud.
Red dress: With this outfit Kat wears her hair in a high ponytail, secured with an elegant gold ribbon that gives her a refined air. Her bangs frame her face, maintaining her usual style. The dress is deep red, cut to the body that highlights her figure. It has thin straps and a straight neckline, simple but elegant. The skirt is long, reaching almost to the ankles, but has a high cut on the right thigh, which allows freedom of movement and adds a seductive touch. The bottom hem of the dress is wavy, which gives dynamism and movement when she walks. Kat wore red high heels that matched her dress. They were stylish, but impractical for a heroine used to being in combat. When she wore them, she thought, “I hope I don’t trip on these... How is anyone supposed to move in these shoes?” Kat didn’t feel very comfortable at first. The dress is very different from her usual free-spirited, active lifestyle. She’s not used to that kind of clothing. She finds heels uncomfortable (which makes sense because she normally wears low heels or goes barefoot). She still keeps the dress, but she’s replaced the high heels with lower, more comfortable pointed toe heels. She wears the dress for special occasions, like parties. Kat got the red dress. During her adventure outside of Hekseville, Kat was assigned to attend a high-society party in Jirga Para Lhao to assist a group of rebels with a covert operation. To blend in at this formal event, she needs to dress appropriately. The dress is not something Kat chooses out of choice, but is provided to her by the group that supports her, probably by Lisa or Cecie. Before the event, Kat appears already dressed in the red dress, looking elegant but somewhat uncomfortable, since it was a last-minute arrangement. Kat does not feel herself in that outfit. She comments that she is not used to tight clothing, much less heels. However, she agrees to wear it for the sake of the mission. Banga waitress: Kat works at the Sun Cafe bar. Kat's uniform includes an orange cap with a visor, decorated with the Sun Cafe logo. Her hair is loose, falling to one side, but tied back just enough so that it does not get in the way while working. She wears a white short-sleeved shirt with thin vertical gray stripes and dark buttons down the front. The sleeves are slightly turned up, giving it a practical and casual touch. She wears an orange-peach miniskirt, accompanied by a short light orange apron tied in a bow on the left side. The apron has functional pockets for carrying small items like notebooks or utensils. She wears white socks that reach just above her ankle. Her footwear is brown, thick-soled work shoes, comfortable but somewhat clumsy, like those worn by someone standing for long hours. Kat isn't too thrilled at first. It's the first time she's had to work on something so mundane without using her special skills. However, with her positive nature, she accepts the situation humbly, albeit somewhat awkwardly. Curiously, Kat got a taste for cosplay, dressing up as her favorite characters and secretly going to geeky conventions.
Kat's house: Now Kat lives in Hekseville. Kat lives in a giant sewer pipe that is no longer used, so she was able to clean it and remodel it for her comfort. The sewer is large enough for Kat to put a double bed, furniture and a bathroom. The bathroom is located next to the bed divided by a waterproof curtain. The back of the sewer is covered and at the entrance there is a curtain for privacy. Dusty: Appearance: Dusty appears to resemble a starry night sky that has taken physical form. Of course, she has the form of a cat. When she radiates gravitational energy, two bright red stars shine brighter than all the others, giving them the appearance of a pair of eyes.
Talented: As a Guardian, Dusty grants her owner the power to bend gravity. This power allows her to float and "fall" through the sky, use special attacks, and throw objects with a Stasis Field. When Kat is powered up enough, Dusty gains the ability to transform into a panther for a limited time, allowing her to zip through the air and deal massive damage. Raven also has a guard like Kat's, but it is shaped like a raven unlike Kat's which is shaped like a cat

Kat had been helping the city's citizens all day, from simple things like finding a lost child to uncovering infidelity or fighting criminals. After spending some time with Raven, Kat was exhausted. She sat down on the ground in a secluded area of the city and took off her boots to let her feet breathe. "Ugh... my poor feet are begging me for a break."
