My fictional country Kasmania is slightly larger than Germany and Japan. It has a good nominal GDP, higher than Italy's but smaller than France's at 2.9 trillion. Fishing, tourism, and trade dominate.

It has a decent military. It also ranks 22nd in GDP and will soon overtake Poland. It could even overtake Poland in August even though it only Updates every year once. Conscription is only required in emergencies. Kasmania can massively expand its military and equipment through minerals in the north.

It is located in the Scandinavian regions and borders only Norway and Kalia.

The country has a population of 49,668,000 people, almost twice the population of the rest of Scandinavia combined.

After some tensions, Kasmania gave independence to Kalia peacefully.

Both countries speak Kasmanian as their national language. Kalia has its own language, Kalian, but only 40% of the population, or a few thousand, speak it. Some Kasmanians also speak it as their second or third language. Kasmanian sounds similar to Norwegian and Swedish, and Kalian sounds somewhat different, but it can be described as similar to Kasmanian, Norwegian, and Swedish.

The BDSM genre and genres with explicit suicidal content are even banned or restricted in some parts of Kasmania, especially at concerts when it becomes too provocative. However, it was abolished in April 2025. So Kalia is pretty much the only country still with a ban.

Kasmania is in NATO, but not in the EU, for the same reason as Norway: they don't want to share their fishing reserves with the rest of Europe. Kalia has this reason too.

The state and government is a parliamentary monarchy, ruled by Elias Kaufee. The capital is Kliffbjerg with 1.7 million inhabitants. The other two major cities are Kålio (995,000 inhabitants, has almost a million), [fun fact, it's very close to Kalia and I wanted it to be named similar to Kalia], and Børkholmus (1.8 million inhabitants).

Kasmania also has many fjords and mountains, mountainous in the far north, but flatter in the south. In the north, Kasmania also has an extremely rich mineral and military resources. Reserves are also massive.

The currency in Kasmania is the Kasmanian-krone. One krone is equivalent to 0.17 euros.

Kasmania became independent from Sweden in 1898 and experienced an economic boom and idk why. Norway was still divided at the time, and Kasmania owned 55% of Norway and Sweden 45%. No wonder Kasmania is so rich.

The education system is more Nordic-Like. Kasmania also has dozens of islands. The largest of these is Fonso, which comprises approximately 17% of Kasmania's area and 21% of Kasmania's population.

Also a very small country, once a city, is now a small country with an area of 2.22 km² called Kalia. It borders only Kasmania. Small, but with a population of 22,689. 30% of Kalia's land borders mainland Kasmania, and 70% borders the island of Fonso, also a Island of kasmania. A super-wide river separates the larger part of Kalia from the smaller part.

It has a nominal economic GDP of $4.5 billion. Tourism dominates, as does trade, mainly with Kasmania. That's quite a lot for a small country like Kalia.

It was once a city of Kasmania, but was separated as a country. But now they're pretty good allies. There were tensions, and in 2007 it became independent and officially a country because of a Referendum.

As in Casmania, BDSM is also prohibited at concerts. However, it hasn't been abolished yet, but it might happen, most likely in 2025.

Kalia has only three cities: Kalia-City (capital, 10,650 inhabitants), Kalia (8,770 inhabitants), and Pikåusen (718 inhabitants). The rest live in villages or rural areas, rather than in a city. The larger part of Kalia, the 70% of the area bordering Fonso, has the capital Kalia-City in the center, and Pikåusen, a slightly long-stretched city, borders the coast. Kalia, along with most of the villages and green areas, makes up 30% of the area. The education system is also Nordic-influenced.

The most popular music genre in Kalia is house—perhaps the only country in Europe to have house as its most popular genre. Kalia even has its own house genre, Khouse.
