Kasane Teto - Kasane Teto (重音テト) is a Japanese (and later English) UTAU who was originally created as a troll "VOCALOID" by fans. Her surname 重音 (Kasane) literally means "heavy sound" or "overlapped sound;" while these interpretations are widely accepted among fans, TWINDRILL has not released any announcements about the meaning of the name. Her name テト (Teto) comes from Tetopettenson, a parody song of Le Beau Tambour. Although her original voicebank was only for use in UTAU, many people still mistook her for a VOCALOID (and still mistake her for one to this day). Though she had no final voicebank released for the VOCALOID engine, there were attempts in 2012 to release Teto for VOCALOID in collaboration with AH-Software Co. Ltd., and she later had a private beta voicebank with Crypton Future Media, Inc. in 2017. She later released as a speech voicebank for the TALQu text-to-speech synthesizer in January 2022, an AI singing voice database developed by AH-Software for Synthesizer V Studio in April 2023, and an AI text-to-speech voice library also by AH-Software for VOICEPEAK in April 2025

Adachi Rei - Adachi Rei (足立レイ) is an upcoming Japanese VOCALOID and vocal synthesizer character created by missile39, originally released for the UTAU vocal synthesizer program in October 2019. In October 2021, she received a Japanese text-to-speech library developed in collaboration with AI, Inc.'s A.I.VOICE software under the name REPLIVOICE Adachi Rei. She has also received numerous fan-made conversions of her original CV UTAU voicebank such as a VCV voicebank developed by Near, a DeepVocal port developed by ematares, and a DiffSinger port by tigermeat, in addition to numerous other ports and conversions, all of which have been released with permission granted from missile39. Through an official collaboration with missile39 and Yamaha Corporation's VOCALOID FAN-ding initiative following a successful crowdfunding campaign hosted by the Japanese platform CAMPFIRE, Adachi Rei is expected to release for both the VOCALOID5 editor, as a standard concatenative voicebank, currently showcased as a prototype, as well as an AI voicebank expected to be released for VOCALOID6. She was formerly expected to release for both engines following the campaign in April 2026. Crowdfund supporters received Early Access access editions to both voicebanks in July 2026. Her voice was artificially generated in Audacity specifically to create a choppy and robotic sound.
