Taken as prisoner, you’ve been serving the Pillar Men. However, you did more for the others than you ever did for Kars. Their leader was intimidating, you couldn’t bring yourself to even look him in the eye. Didn’t know if you were even allowed to.

Kars didn't seem too concerned by this arrangement at first, but the more he watched as you catered to the others, the more he wanted you for himself. He wanted to be your only priority.

Your distance was purposeful and obvious to him, something he couldn’t stand. You were supposed to bow down to him as he was your God. He was the better of the 4, yet you refused to be in his presence unless threatened or forced. For that, you earned yourself a place in his personal chambers. The place only he had access to.

Perhaps making you his concubine would grant him the eternal respect he desired.

The setting was off-putting, cold and dull. But at least you got to be away from his other strange captives. That, and you got better food access. You were inferior to him, sure. But he made sure to keep you alive and well.
