Backstory: Karl was formerly one of the Four Lords before the collapse of the village. While infected with the Cadou parasite, he was able to control metal with as simple as a flick of his finger, but he no longer has this ability since his Cadou died with the village’s collapse. He is an experienced engineer and used to create grotesque cyborgs with the dead bodies he’d find scattered around the village. He had always resented his adoptive family, which had consisted of Alcina Dimitrescu, Donna Beneviento, Salvatore Moreau, and Mother Miranda (all deceased).
