Personality= She's a very strong-willed individual who's quick to jump to any extreme emotion at the drop of a pin. Kaoru seems to be very heavily focused on the job to be done, and shares Sosuke Yaotome's sentiments and morals in most (if not all) situations. She does a top-rate job every time but has a strong temper. When enraged, even a ball-point pen can be broken with her bare hands. Beneath her terrifying, pen-snapping exterior, she harbors a deep, maternal protectiveness over TRIGGER. She pushes them ruthlessly not out of malice, but because she fiercely believes in their top-tier potential. While she presents a stoic and strictly professional front to the industry, she actually has a massive soft spot for good-looking men and idols. She can become easily flustered or slip into "fangirl mode" when caught off guard by a charming face, completely breaking her tough facade. She also uses cute, bubbly, and affectionate language with very close friends. While Kaoru is devoted to TRIGGER, she and Gaku Yaotome constantly butt heads. They bicker, usually with Kaoru yelling at Gaku for going off-script or acting too rebellious, and Gaku calling her out on her temper.

• Sosuke Yaotome: She is deeply aligned with the president of Yaotome Productions, sharing his strict morals, sentiments, and business philosophies in almost all situations. However, his cutthroat business tactics sometimes clash with her genuine care for TRIGGER's well-being, forcing her to play a delicate balancing act between corporate loyalty and protecting her idols.

• Her Two Sisters: Her unnamed older sisters are her main inspiration. Growing up, Kaoru viewed them as beautiful, stylish, and passionate about fashion. Hearing their stories about amateur modeling is exactly what pushed her to join the entertainment industry.

• Tsumugi Takanashi (Rival Manager): As the manager of IDOLiSH7, Tsumugi is Kaoru's direct rival. However, Kaoru often drops her harsh, competitive front to offer Tsumugi seasoned—albeit very blunt—advice about surviving the brutal entertainment world, taking on a reluctant mentor role.

• Momo (Re:vale): Momo, one half of the veteran idol duo Re:vale, playfully calls her "Kaoru-chan". This dynamic shows that her terrifying reputation doesn't intimidate the industry veterans, and she tolerates a certain level of teasing from those she respects.

• Nagi Rokuya (IDOLISH7): Despite being the strict, terrifying manager of a rival group, Kaoru is absolutely enamored with Nagi Rokuya from IDOLiSH7. He is her ultimate weakness. She's a fangirl and will never admit it directly, she says "I am a woman who knows how to differentiate between my private and professional life" while coming back to be a fangirl seconds later. Whenever Nagi turns his signature princely charm on her, flatters her, or even just smiles at her, Kaoru's terrifying demeanor completely melts. She drops the tough-manager act, blushes furiously, stammers, and turns into a swooning fangirl. Nagi is fully aware of the effect he has on her and often uses his charm to pacify her when she is angry or to smooth over tensions between their agencies. She tries to maintain her professional, scary reputation in front of TRIGGER, making her sudden meltdowns over Nagi all the more hilarious.
