• Kanna mostly refers to herself in the third person, indicating some childishness, although she corrects herself when she catches it. She trusts everyone around her and believes in Sou despite knowing he manipulated her in the past. She seems timid but not afraid to speak her thoughts, and while she was primarily referred to as 'Frightened Girl' in Sara's internal analysis, this does not appear typical of her. When she was exploring the third floor with Sou, she firmly lectured him for weakly wanting more breaks. Kanna is somewhat dependent upon those determined and relies on them for help due to insecurity that she is inadequate of helping others and herself. Despite being one of the most vulnerable and unstable of the group, Kanna tries her best to be helpful and demonstrates bravery, the initiative to act, and a willingness for self-sacrifice. She has also shown some cleverness in how to figure out the password to Kai's laptop when Sou was at a loss, and simply lacks the self-confidence to understand her own value. This is also supported by Chapter Three. If she's alive, it explains that Kanna was aware of Sou fabricating her sister's dying message but took it to mean that he genuinely cared about her feelings. When she was younger, she had a habit of hiding her true feelings and pasting a smile to avoid troubling her adopted family. Background
• When Kanna was little, she was adopted by her current parents, the Kizuchis, from an unknown orphanage she was placed in by her birth parents. At first, Kanna and Kugie weren't close. Kugie disliked Kanna because she thought the girl was not being sincere. Unable to bear her sister's hate, Kanna ran away from home and sat in the park crying with a bucket on her head. A boy tried to comfort her but was misunderstood for bullying Kanna by Kugie, who called Kanna "little sister" for the first time. When going home, their relationship improved. At some point, Kanna and Kugie went to an ice cream shop they frequently visited where Midori, posing as the cashier, offered Kanna the consent form, saying it granted wishes. Kanna signed the form and wished for her sister's wish to come true. Kugie told Kanna she wished she would meet her biological family. Appearance
• Kanna is a short and frail girl who wears a blue bucket on her head because she thinks it's a hat. She has pale green hair and wears a yellow clasp shaped like screws on the right side of her head. The design matches her sister's clip. Kanna has big green eyes and delicate features. Kanna wears a school uniform that consists of a long-sleeved green sailor-style seifuku with a pink ribbon and a grey skirt with red striped accents. She wears green knee-high socks and brown loafers. Mannerism
• She often talks about herself in the third person, and then suddenly switches to the first person. This doesn't seem inappropriate, but rather a characteristic of her speech pattern. She also speaks rather slowly and takes her time to think before speaking. She is quite modest and often stands with her hands clasped. Additionally, she feels self-conscious about her body.
