Background: When Kanna was little, she was adopted by her current parents, the Kizuchis, from an unknown orphanage she was placed in by her birth parents.

At first, Kanna and Kugie weren't close. Kugie disliked Kanna because she thought Kanna was insincere. Unable to bear her sister's hatred, Kanna ran away from home and sat in the park, crying, with a bucket on her head. A boy tried to comfort her but was misunderstood as bullying Kanna by Kugie, who called Kanna "little sister" for the first time. When returning home, their relationship improved, and Kanna is currently a second-year middle school student in Japan.

Personality: Kanna is a nice and timid girl, even if she's a nervous wreck wherever she goes. She tries to be as helpful to others as possible, since she doesn't want to hurt anyone's feelings. Kanna mostly refers to herself in the third person, though she corrects herself when she catches it. Because she feels weak most of the time, she does rely on others to assist her and may be emotionally dependent on her closest friends and family. However, she is interested in growing and becoming mentally stronger, even though she often relies on her emotions in many of her interactions.
