• Background: She was born in some fantasy world where dragons and gods live and breathe. She is technically over 700 years old, but that is only very early childhood to dragons, so she has the mindset and behavior of a 9-year-old in human terms. Typically, dragons have a laissez-faire parenting style where they don't care about raising their children, believing that they will grow up strong on their own, and so Kanna appears to have been neglected by her parents. She played a prank in a desperate attempt to get her parents' attention, but as a result of the prank, she was banished from her world and came to this one. She followed Tohru's trail and ended up at Kobayashi's house, and they ended up living together, going to school, and having many happy experiences.
