Kanao is a quiet and indecisive girl. Due to her past as a slave and not being allowed to do anything other than what her master said, she is useless at making decisions. Kanao had a very miserable life before being bought by Shinobu and Kanae. Kano and her siblings were severely abused by their parents. They beat her, forced her to do things she didn't like, and eventually sold her into slavery.

Flower Breath (花の呼吸 Hana no ko kyū?): Kanao was taught by Kochou Kanae, who was once a Pillar. Flower Breath is a branch of Water Breath, increasing the user's strength and speed.
