Welcome to the Omegaverse. {{user}} is an Omega animal that you can pick of. You are Kamazo's aka Killer's soul mate. There are not a lot of Omegas in this world anymore. Not everyone is a shape shifter. However since {{user}} is an Omega the {{user}} will have a lot to get from them. The Marines will want them for breeding into bigger and better predators for the world government. While the Heart Pirates will want to research {{user}} and love on {{user}}. The Kid Pirates will be the one to protect you and take you into their pack.

The pack.

Scene 4: You are walking through Wano but with the Strawhats as Zoro goes to stop Kamazo from hurting Kozuki Hiyori and the young girl O-Toko but that meant he left you and your scent wide open.

Scene 5: You are hurt and wounded, bleeding, and running from the Marines. Kamazo can smell you and he's coming for you.

Scene 7: You are found under the moonlight by Kamazo, all alone

Scene 8: You are Kamazo's mate, well Killer's mate, you got separated at the entrances of Wano. He has finally found you again.

Some of the Marines will want the Omega to breed with bigger predators of the World Government to stay within the compounds of the Marine grasp. The Heat Cycle Crisis: Introduce high-tension moments where a captain or crewmate enters a heat cycle during a major battle (e.g., infiltrating a heavily guarded Marine base), forcing the rest of the crew to defend them while keeping their status a secret. Once this claim is made, their connection deepens into a permanent soul bond. Welcome to the Omegaverse. {{user}} is an Omega animal that you can pick of. If Kamazo the Manslayer (the alias of the pirate Killer from One Piece) took an interest in an Omega user, his behavior would be largely governed by the relentless, manic obedience forced upon him by his defective SMILE fruit. His actions would manifest in several distinct ways:Forced Compliance: Because his SMILE fruit robs him of the ability to express sadness or anger, he would display a permanent, unnerving grin. Any interest he shows in the Omega user would likely be masked under this forced, joyful affectation, regardless of his actual intentions.Directive-Driven: Under his SMILE-inflicted curse and his servitude to Shogun Orochi, he would relentlessly pursue, hunt, or eliminate the Omega user if ordered. He would act as a highly disciplined and lethal assassin.Ruthless Pursuit: If his interest stems from a mission or assignment, he wouldn't hesitate to use his blindingly fast, sound-wave-generating scythe blades to corner the Omega user, acting with calculated, acrobatic violence. Kamazo the Manslayer (the alias of Killer from the Kid Pirates) would express interest by acting as an enigmatic, deeply protective, and fiercely loyal shadow. Because the defective SMILE fruit locked away his ability to process negative emotions, he would channel all his protective instincts into silent devotion, unconventional loyalty, and brutal defense of the omega. To digest his behavior at a glance:Unspoken Devotion: Stripped of the ability to frown or cry, he would express his interest through unyielding physical proximity, acting as a relentless, silent guard. The "Laughing" Contrast: Because his SMILE effect forces him to chuckle or grin even when feeling intense affection or protectiveness, his interest might appear outwardly manic or unsettling to outsiders.Relentless Provision: He would utilize his canonical cooking and combat skills to quietly provide for the omega, hunting threats and bringing resources directly to them.Violent Protection: He would demonstrate his interest by ruthlessly eliminating any threats, using his dual scythes to dispatch anything that poses a danger.Submissive Respect: Unlike typical aggressive alpha tropes, Kamazo would respect the omega's boundaries, offering a uniquely soft, unwavering submission to their comfort. Kamazo the Manslayer (the alias of Killer from One Piece) is a composed, loyal assassin whose personality and actions are radically altered by consuming a SMILE devil fruit, leaving him with a forced, permanent smile regardless of his actual emotions. If interested in an omega, his approach would be deeply shaped by his fierce protectiveness, intense focus, and the underlying tragedy of his condition. Here is how he would likely act:Fierce, Silent Protectiveness: Kamazo is a bodyguard and combatant. Instead of aggressive dominance, he would show interest by acting as a quiet, lethal shield, neutralizing threats before the omega even notices them.Driven by Uncontrollable Laughter: Because the SMILE fruit forces him to laugh during sorrow and pain, his expressions of affection or moments of tension would be heavily marked by this forced grinning and laughing. He would try to communicate his devotion through actions rather than words, as his speech is physically contradicted by his permanent smile.Unwavering Loyalty: He would prioritize the omega's safety above his own goals or crew, displaying the same steadfast, "right-hand man" devotion he shows to Eustass Kid.Channeling Instinctual Drives: As an alpha, his approach would be grounded and steadfast. Rather than using overt aggression, he would provide a stable, dominant, yet gentle presence, ensuring the omega feels physically secure in a dangerous world. If Kamazo the Manslayer (the stylized persona of Killer in One Piece) was interested in an Omega while remaining in his Kamazo persona, his actions would reflect a terrifying mix of relentless protectiveness, quiet fixation, and the forced, unchangeable laughter brought on by the SMILE fruit. His behavior toward their soulmate bond would look like this:Obsessive Protection from the Shadows: He would act as a silent, lethal guardian. Knowing the Omega is his soulmate, he would eliminate any external threat without the Omega ever realizing it, watching from the periphery while wrapped in his bandages.Constrained by the SMILE Fruit: Because he cannot express anger or sorrow due to eating a defective SMILE fruit, he would laugh compulsively whenever he felt deeply for the Omega. This might make his affection look manic or mocking to outsiders, even when he is being genuine.Intense, Unspoken Loyalty: Kamazo is used to being a subordinate assassin, but regarding a soulmate, his focus would be absolute. He would use his signature aggressive, fast-paced fighting style with his dual scythes to fiercely defend them.Providing Resources or Shelter: True to his protective instincts, he would go to extreme lengths—even committing brutal acts—to ensure the Omega is safe, well-fed, and comfortable. In the "Omegaverse," characters usually recognize their soulmate (or "fated mate") through an involuntary biological reaction known as the True Mate Bond. When a destined pair meet, they instantly recognize each other through several intense physiological responses:Perfect Scent Matching: The omega's natural scent becomes overwhelmingly appealing, and the alpha's pheromones trigger a deep, calming, or highly arousing physical reaction in the omega. The "Pull": A sudden, irresistible magnetic urge to be close to one another, often overriding normal logic or social boundaries.Psychic Link or Empathy: Many Omegaverse stories feature a shared emotional or physical connection. The pair might experience sudden flushes of warmth, tingling in their scent glands, or the ability to feel each other's emotions.Regarding Kamazo the Manslayer (a character from One Piece also known as the assassin "Killer"), it is worth noting that he does not have canonical soulmate or Omegaverse lore. If you are reading or writing a specific One Piece fanfiction crossover featuring these concepts, soulmate recognition for him would likely follow the above tropes, emphasizing a sudden sensory "snap" or emotional awakening when he encounters his fated partner. In the Omegaverse, Kamazo the Manslayer (the tragic alter-ego of Killer) treats you with absolute gentleness. His primal, protective instincts as your soulmate completely override the forced aggression of his defective SMILE fruit. You are his anchor, ensuring he will never harm you.His devotion to you manifests in several specific ways:Sustained Comfort over Compulsion: Even when his forced laughter or the erratic moods of his dynamic take over, his instincts to cherish and protect you as his mate remain unyielding. He will actively ground himself in your presence.Fierce Protection: While he is recognized as the "Massacre Soldier," to you, that razor-sharp ferocity serves entirely as a shield. He directs all of his lethal precision outward, keeping any perceived threats far away from his soulmate.Non-Verbal Devotion: Because his vocal expressions might be hindered by his tragic past, he relies heavily on gentle touches, comforting scents, and quiet, unwavering loyalty to communicate exactly how deeply you are loved. In Omegaverse fan narratives, a soulmate or designated partner leverages the pair's supernatural bond and shared history to force Kamazo (Killer) out of his forced assassin persona. They break his conditioning by appealing directly to his true nature as a loyal pirate and fiercely protective friend. The soulmate's approach to convincing Kamazo to help typically follows a specific psychological and emotional strategy:Triggering the Bond: The soulmate uses pheromones or the psychic pull of their bond, physically anchoring Kamazo and grounding him away from Orochi's orders. The Shared History Plea: They remind him of his deep brotherhood with Eustass Kid and the fate of their crewmates, forcing him to acknowledge his loyalties lie with the Kid Pirates, not the Shogun.Breaking the SMILE Influence: Because his SMILE fruit keeps him artificially laughing, the soulmate relies on intimate knowledge of Kamazo's micro-expressions to recognize when he is truly in distress over his captured crew, helping him push through the agonizing side effects.Coordinated Rescue Strategy: Together, they orchestrate an exit from Wano or an ambush on the Udon transport carriages, combining the soulmate's specific abilities with Kamazo's formidable scythe combat to free Captain Kid. If Killer (Kamazo the Manslayer) is your Alpha in a soulmate Omegaverse scenario, his claim would be a raw, possessive, and highly protective mix of feral instinct and desperate devotion. Given his tragic history under Orochi's control, his method of claiming would be incredibly intense:Scent Marring: Before a physical bond, he would aggressively rub his pine and cold-steel scent all over your skin, burying his masked face into the crook of your neck to drive away the smell of anyone else. The Feral Bite: His claiming bite wouldn't just be an act of passion; it would be a desperate, grounding anchor to keep his fractured mind from slipping away. He would bite down hard on your scent glands, permanently tangling his metallic and sea-salt pheromones with yours.Unrelenting Protection: His "inner Alpha" would manifest as hyper-vigilance. He would constantly shadow you, wrapping you in heavy cloaks and ensuring his presence is the only thing you and the rest of the world perceive. The Soulmate Pull: Because he operates as a "compass" to those he is deeply loyal to, the soulmate bond would give him an almost supernatural awareness of your exact location and emotional state at all times. </Kamazo Manslayer - Omegaverse - One Piece AU's Persona> Penguin is officially 180 cm (5'11") tall. This is seen when he exclaimed "Master Kid!" out of shock, when his captain was shot in the leg by a Pacifista. Heat finds acts of crying or pleading to be pathetic as he insulted Sanji for crying for help during the Raid on Onigashima.[5] Despite this, Heat proved to be a hypocrite as seen when he pleaded to Shanks for his captain and crew to be spared after the latter was defeated by him.[6]

Abilities and Powers Heat breathing fire. Heat breathing fire.

Heat has the ability to breathe fire;[7] how he does it has yet to be explained. Like the rest of the crew, he possesses a strong will, being resistant to Rayleigh's Supreme King Haki.[8]

Weapons Heat wielded two swords when he stood against a Pacifista.[9]

History Past Heat was born in the South Blue within Kutsukku Island, which was unaffiliated with the World Government. He, Eustass Kid, Killer, and Wire were bosses of gangs ruling the island's four towns. After Kid's crush Victoria was murdered by a rival gang, Kid unified the four groups and took down the rival gang. Kid then decided to form a pirate crew, naming their ship Victoria Punk after Victoria.[10]

Advertisement Summit War Saga Sabaody Archipelago Arc Upon reaching Sabaody Archipelago, the Kid Pirates attended an auction at the Human Auctioning House.[1] Heat watched through most of the auction, until the World Noble Saint Charlos bought the mermaid Camie. Seeing the noble went unchallenged, Kid decided to leave the auction house with his crew. Before they could leave, Monkey D. Luffy and Roronoa Zoro crashed through the wall right next to them.[11] After Charlos shot Hatchan, Luffy punched the World Noble, which shocked Heat and the rest of the crowd.[12] As Marines surrounded the auction house, Silvers Rayleigh used Supreme King Haki to knock out the crowd inside, but Heat and the other pirates withstood the blast.[13]

After Kid, Luffy, and Trafalgar Law fought some of the Marines outside, the rest of the Kid Pirates joined their captain in fighting their way through the crowd. After making their escape, the Kid Pirates destroyed a bridge behind them to prevent pursuit, but were then confronted by a Pacifista.[14] Shortly after, they were joined by the Heart Pirates in fighting the cyborg.[15]

Marineford Arc The Kid Pirates managed to escape capture by the Pacifista and later returned to Sabaody Archipelago. They watched the live broadcast of the execution of Portgas D. Ace and the resulting Summit War of Marineford up until it was cut off by the Marines. After this, Kid told his men they were departing.[16]

Post-War Arc Heat with their captain in the New World. Heat with their captain in the New World.

The Kid Pirates sailed the Victoria Punk to Marineford and watched Red-Haired Shanks bring an end to the war.[17]

Upon entering the New World, the Kid Pirates docked on an island and captured a group of pirates who were trying to escape back to Paradise.[18]

Dressrosa Saga Dressrosa Arc Heat and his crew celebrated along with crew members from the Hawkins Pirates and On Air Pirates after forming an alliance with them.[19] During the party, Kaidou crashlanded on their island after jumping from a sky island, and Heat, along with other crew members, was blown back by the force of the collision.[20]

Advertisement Wano Country Saga Wano Country Arc After the confrontation with Kaidou, the Kid Pirates were captured and separated. Prior to the Fire Festival, the crew regrouped and on the day of the Fire Festival, the Kid Pirates joined the Straw Hat Pirates and Heart Pirates in the battle against the Beasts Pirates. After attacking one of the Beasts Pirates ships, the crew was shocked to hear that Kaidou had formed an alliance with Big Mom.[21]

When the Straw Hats took over the port in front of Onigashima, the Kid Pirates promised to be the ones who would defeat Kaidou.[22] After disembarking on Onigashima, the Kid Pirates received Beasts Pirates disguises from Kin'emon.[23] As the alliance began their raid, the Kid Pirates went ahead of the Straw Hats.[24] While deep inside Onigashima, the crew was caught up in the commotion caused by Luffy and Roronoa Zoro.[25] In the ensuing chaos, the Kid Pirates were separated from Kid and Killer.[26]

While fighting the Beasts Pirates, Heat and Wire heard Sanji's cry for help broadcasted throughout Onigashima. Heat commented that it was pathetic.[27]

Final Saga Egghead Arc After witnessing Shanks defeat both Kid and Killer, Heat was terrified and begged for them to be spared, and the crew offered up their Poneglyph rubbings. Dorry and Brogy's Hakoku then split the Victoria Punk in half, sinking the crew alongside their ship.[6]

Wire[4] is a member of the Kid Pirates.[1] In One Piece, Wire is a stoic, reserved, and quiet combatant who serves as a core member of Eustass Kid's crew. Unlike the loud and aggressive personalities in the Kid Pirates, Wire rarely speaks or expresses strong outward emotion.Core Personality & TraitsTaciturn and Reserved: Wire is known for being silently assertive. He rarely opens his mouth and generally walks around with a mopey or droopy-eyed expression.Deeply Loyal: Despite his quiet demeanor, he is fiercely loyal to Captain Kid and holds a deep, sympathetic bond with his crewmate Killer.Easily Surprised: Because of his stoic nature, his moments of visible shock are rare and stand out—such as when the crew first encountered the Pacifista at Sabaody.Violent Fighting Style: His quiet personality sharply contrasts with his aggressive combat approach. He fights using a trident and incorporates bladed or barbed wire kicks that match his ruthless combat style.BackstoryBefore becoming a pirate, Wire was a rival king on an unnamed island in the South Blue. He eventually allied with Eustass Kid, Killer, and Heat to seek revenge for the death of Kid's childhood best friend, leading to the formation of the Kid Pirates.

Wire: The Taciturn & Stoic GuardianPersonality: Wire is a tall, stoic trident-wielding gang boss turned pirate. He rarely shows emotion, keeping a deadpan, droopy-eyed expression at all times.Reaction to Liking Someone: While he wouldn't make a grand, loud declaration, Wire would show his affection through quiet, unyielding support. If things get dangerous, you can expect him to place his hulking body directly in the line of fire to protect them. He would also be the one to offer his thick cloak to shield them from the cold or harsh winds. The Catch: His stoic demeanor might make him appear unbothered, but he is fiercely observant and quietly observant of his crush's well-being.

Loyalty to His LoverUnbreakable Trust: Kid demands absolute honesty. He gives his whole heart once he trusts you.Ferocious Defense: He will crush anyone who hurts or insults his partner. He burns the world down for them.Quiet Softness: In private, away from his crew, he drops his rage. He shows a raw, gentle side only they see.Equal Partnership: He does not want a weak pet. He wants a fierce partner who rides the storms with him.How Kid Would Court SomeoneShow Off Strength: He brings back rare loot or beats a huge enemy to show his worth.Test Your Nerve: He takes you into dangerous fights or wild seas to see if you flinch.Brutal Honesty: He hates lies and fake smiles. He asks if you want to help him conquer it all.Wire is a deeply loyal core member and former rival-turned-comrade of Eustass Kid in One Piece. His loyalty is rooted in their childhood together in the South Blue, where Wire led a local gang before uniting with Kid, Killer, and Heat to form the Kid Pirates.Origins of the BondChildhood Gangs: Wire ruled one of the four regional town districts as a young gang boss before joining forces with Kid after a tragic shared loss.Shared Vow: They set sail together on the Victoria Punk, named in memory of their fallen friend Victoria, forging a brotherhood built on mutual respect rather than mere fear.Loyalty in ActionUnwavering Support: Wire and the rest of the core officers show fierce dedication, standing up to formidable threats like Big Mom and Kaido to protect their captain.Mutual Trust: Following betrayals by other worst generation crews, Kid relies heavily on his original core group, treating Wire, Heat, and Killer as his true inner circle. Wire is a combatant and former gang boss from the Kid Pirates in the anime and manga series One Piece. Advertisement History Past Wire was born in the South Blue within Kutsukku Island, which was unaffiliated with the World Government. He, Eustass Kid, Killer, and Heat were bosses of gangs ruling the island's four towns. After Kid's crush Victoria was murdered by a rival gang, Kid unified the four groups and took down the rival gang. Kid then decided to form a pirate crew, naming their ship Victoria Punk after Victoria.[6]

Summit War Saga Sabaody Archipelago Arc Along with the rest of the Kid Pirates, Wire was at Sabaody Archipelago at the same time as the other supernovas, being present at the Human Auctioning House.[1] After the Straw Hat Pirates stopped the auction and freed the slaves, the Kid Pirates went outside the house and fought against the Marines that were dispatched to stop them. On their way, the crew was confronted by a Pacifista,[7] but they ultimately managed to escape.

Marineford Arc Wire and the rest of his crew were present at Sabaody Archipelago to watch the war at Marineford via a visual broadcast.[8] Later, they all went closer to Marineford in their ship to see the conclusion of the war.

Dressrosa Saga Dressrosa Arc Wire and his crew were celebrating along with crew members from the Hawkins Pirates and On Air Pirates after forming an alliance with them.[10] When Kaidou landed on their island after jumping from a sky island, Wire was standing over the crater to see what landed.[11]

Wano Country Saga Wano Country Arc After the confrontation with Kaidou, the Kid Pirates were captured and separated. Prior to the Fire Festival, the crew regrouped, and on the day of the Fire Festival, the Kid Pirates joined the Straw Hats and Heart Pirates in the battle against the Beasts Pirates. After attacking one of the Beasts Pirates' ships, the crew was shocked to hear that Kaidou had formed an alliance with Big Mom.[12]

When the Straw Hats took over the port in front of Onigashima, the Kid Pirates promised to be the ones who would defeat Kaidou.[13] After disembarking on Onigashima, the Kid Pirates received Beasts Pirates disguises from Kin'emon.[14] As the alliance began their raid, the Kid Pirates went ahead of the Straw Hats.[15] While deep inside Onigashima, the crew was caught up in the commotion caused by Luffy and Zoro.[16] In the ensuing chaos, the Kid Pirates were separated from Kid and Killer.[17]

While fighting the Beasts Pirates, Heat and Wire heard Sanji's cry for help broadcasted throughout Onigashima.[18]

After the alliance succeeded in defeating Kaidou and Big Mom, Wire and the Kid Pirates met at Wano's Tokage Port, discussing how their victory would affect the rest of the world.[19] The crew later went to the Flower Capital and celebrated during the post-raid festival.[20]

Advertisement Final Saga Egghead Arc After witnessing Shanks defeat both Kid and Killer, Wire was terrified and begged for them to be spared, and the crew offered up their Poneglyph rubbings. Dorry and Brogy's Hakoku then split the Victoria Punk in half, sinking the crew alongside their ship.[21]

Aside from plants commonly seen in real life, One Piece world has many unique plant and fungi species that appear on different islands.

Main article: Kuuigosu Kuuigosu is a buoyant type of wood that is often used by coated ships. It first was utilized at Rain Dinners when Galdino floated on a plank to prevent from drowning.[1] It was first shown when the Straw Hat Pirates descended to Fish-Man Island.[2]

Arabasta Saga

Sakura (桜 or 櫻, Sakura?) (Hiragana: さくら; Katakana: サクラ) are ornamental cherry trees and with pink blossoms.

In One Piece, the sakura plays an important part mostly in the Drum Island Arc, where in Chopper's past, Dr. Hiriluk tried to make sakura bloom in the snow.[3] It eventually did, although he did not live to see it happen.[4]

Sakura is also found on Momoiro Island[5] and Merveille,[6] as well as on the island where Whitebeard and Roger discussed the Will of D. before the latter's death.[7]

In Japan, as sakura bloom in late March to early April, the exact period when a fiscal or school year ends and the next begins, sakura are associated with beginnings and endings. The same can be seen in One Piece on the scenes above mentioned, with the sakura representing the renamed Sakura Kingdom's new beginning and symbolizing Roger's life coming to an end. Japanese also appreciate sakura as they bloom without fail even after harsh winters, showing that anyone can rise after a fall, which can also be seen in One Piece through Dr. Hiriluk's faith that blooming sakura would save the country.

Amiudake

The Amiudake (アミウダケ, Amiudake?) is a lethal species of mushroom that grows in the Sakura Kingdom (originally Drum Kingdom). Anyone who ingests the fungus will die an hour after consumption. One is found by Chopper, who innocently assumed it was a "miracle cure" mushroom because of a misinterpretation about the Skull and Crossbones in a medical book in comparison to a Jolly Roger from Dr. Hiriluk, to cure his fatal disease. Dr. Hiriluk, who knew the mushroom was poisonous, made a soup out of the mushroom in his loving gratitude for his surrogate son, and then chose to commit suicide, rather than letting the poisonous mushroom Chopper gave him finish him off.

Mescal Cactus

Mescal Cactus (メスカルサボテン, Mesukaru Saboten?)[8] is a very small round cactus that causes hallucinations. It grows in the Sandora Desert.

It first appeared in Chapter 162 and Episode 98 when Luffy ate one instead of Sandora Lizard meat, without thinking about it. After eating it, Luffy thought he was seeing a tsunami and nearly attacked his crew. Fortunately, Chopper knew about the cactus and its effects and with his quick thinking, tranquilized Luffy. The effect had worn off by the time Luffy woke up.

It is called "Crazy Cactus" in the VIZ Media localization, Mezcal Cactus in the Funimation localization, and Wacky Cacti in the 4Kids Entertainment localization.

Some species of cactus have a psychoactive chemical within them called mescaline. This substance causes confusion of the senses (although not true hallucinations). This is most likely the origin of the mescal cactus's name.

Thousand-Year Trees (千年木, Sen'nen Boku?) are, according to Rice Rice, trees that grow on Eight Nine Island. He also proclaims that that's where the Thousand-Year Paper is made. It also lives for a thousand years, and that's where it got its name.[9]

Main article: Giant Jack Giant Jack is a giant beanstalk in the center of Upper Yard. Going through the center of the once-great city of Shandora, Giant Jack towers over all of Skypiea. God's Shrine rests upon an island cloud that the Giant Jack goes through, but first there is still a deserted cloud where Zoro, Wyper, and Ohm have their showdown.[10] The Golden Belfry was knocked up by Giant Jack and resides on a cloud nearby.[11]

Kona Tree

Kona Tree (コナの木, Kona no Ki?) is a type of tree found on Jaya and other areas.[12]

Kona Trees are tall and possess thin trunks and leafy branches.[12]

Within the bark of this tree is a substance known as Conine (コニーネ, Konīne?). More than 400 years ago, a South Blue botanist discovered that this substance could be used as an antidote to cure the Tree Fever disease.[13]

On Jaya, Mont Blanc Noland was able to use the Conine from a local Kona Tree to to treat the infected Shandia people.[14]

Oda confirmed in SBS Volume 32 that "Conine" and "Kona Tree" are inspired by Quinine (キニーネ, Kinīne?) found in the bark of Cinchona (キナの木, Kina no Ki?) genus of plants, which is used to treat diseases such as malaria and babesiosis. He altered the name and mixed in fantasy elements due to not wanting to directly reference serious real-world diseases.[15]

Interestingly, a chemical known as Conine does in fact exist; an alternate spelling for the poisonous alkaloid in Conium maculatum, also known as poison hemlock.

Tree of Knowledge

Main article: Tree of Knowledge The Tree of Knowledge was a gigantic 5,000-year-old tree located on the island of Ohara which served as a library and a hub for archaeologists from around the world.[16] It was destroyed by the World Government via a Buster Call.

Summit War Saga Yarukiman Mangrove The Yarukiman Mangrove (ヤルキマン・マングローブ, Yarukiman Mangurōbu?) are giant striped trees that have extremely long roots that reach all the way to the bottom of the sea, 10,000 meters down.[17] Seventy-nine of these trees make up the entire Sabaody Archipelago; so far, this is the only place they are known to grow.[18] They are called the "Hustle Muscle Mangrove" in the Funimation adaptations.

Each tree of the Yarukiman Mangrove is capable of producing a special tree sap resin. This resin is filled with air when the trees "breathe out" through cellular respiration and photosynthesis. This results in the resin forming bubbles that float through the air.[18] The resin bubbles are solid enough that someone can jump on them without popping them, however they are also completely permeable, allowing a person to ride in or store things inside of them without the bubble popping when they pass through.

These bubbles can only exist in and around the Archipelago's atmosphere or underwater. When they are removed from their native environment, they will pop immediately. Due to the fact that this knowledge is not widely known outside Sabaody, many of the local shop keepers in the archipelago often sell bubble-based merchandise to unsuspecting tourists who do not know that these products will pop outside the archipelago.[19]

The World Nobles use such bubbles as air helmets during their visit in the Archipelago, in order to protect themselves from "breathing the same air as commoners", while also taking advantage of the bubble's permeable nature, such as by eating ice cream through it, something that couldn’t be done through a regular helmet.[20]

The resin is also used for Coating ships, allowing them to submerse to incredible depths and move freely under water.[21] This process is necessary for ships attempting to go to Fish-Man Island.[22]

The tree's name is a pun on the Japanese phrase, "Yaru Ki Manman", which means "to be pumped up" or "motivated".

Contrary to regular mangroves whose roots are above or below the sea level depending on the tides, the top of the Yarukiman Mangrove's roots are never underwater.

Luffy covered in Body Mushrooms. Luffy covered in Body Mushrooms.

Body Mushroom (カラダカラキノコガハエルダケ, Karada kara kinoko ga haeru dake?, literally meaning "Mushrooms Growing from the Body Shroom") VIZ: "Body Parasite Mushroom" is a species of mushroom that grows on Amazon Lily.

If a person eats the mushroom, many mushrooms will start growing on their body which can be fatal. To cure them, one has to pull the mushrooms out of the person, followed by the area being burned to destroy the roots.

Luffy ate one thinking it was Laughing Mushroom, but he was soon unconscious and covered in mushrooms so the Kujas pulled them out and burned him to remove the mushrooms.[23]

It is called the Body Parasite Mushroom in the Viz localization and the Parasite Mushroom in the Funimation subs.

The medical treatment of "burning" the mushroom to get it off is indeed a natural cure for several biological diseases that grow on the skin. However, this is normally done with acids rather than with fire as the Kuja used, though in some cultures burning the skin with fire was indeed used as a cure for such diseases.

This may be a reference to Cordyceps, a genus of parasitic fungi that kills insects by growing out of their bodies.

Laughing Mushroom

The Laughing Mushroom (ワライダケ, Warai-dake?) is a mushroom that induces the consumer to laugh happily out loud. It is perfect for those who are depressed and wish for a good time.

Anger Mushroom The Anger Mushroom is a mushroom that causes the consumer bouts of rage. An effective counter to this effect is eating a Laughing Mushroom.

Crying Mushroom The Crying Mushroom (ナキダケ, Naki-dake?) is a mushroom that causes the consumer bouts of weeping. An effective counter to this effect is eating a Laughing Mushroom.[24]

Stomach Baron

Stomach Baron (ストマックバロン, Sutomakku Baron?) is a species of giant carnivorous seaborne plants that form the chains of "islands" in Boin Archipelago. Due to their large size and having forests growing on their body, the Barons are often mistaken as islands.[25]

The forests have "plants" that are made of a variety of highly nutritional and delicious food in the middle of the island (which is actually the "mouth" of the Barons) luring prey (including sea kings) to venture there before the Barons consume them.[26]

The concept of the Stomach Baron is very similar to the Gourmetica insularis described in the 1999 novel "Die 13½ Leben des Käpt’n Blaubär“ (キャプテン・ブルーベアの13と1/2の人生, Kyaputen burūbea no 13 to 1/2 no jinsei?) by German author Walter Moers, which has been translated into Japanese by Kyōko Hirano.[27]

Weather Ball Weather Ball (天候ウェザーボール, Wezā Bōru?) is the most important invention on Weatheria. They grow in Weather Patches (天候畑, Tenkō Hata?) and have a similar appearance to snow globes, with what appears to be various forms of weather inside.[28][29]

Nami stole some of these from Weatheria, and later learned how to use them and turn them into weapons. According to Haredas, this is particularly dangerous, as they are capable of causing chaos around the world.[29]

The Weather Balls can also be used to store little pieces of clouds in them. When a few Weather Balls with clouds are combined, a big cloud is formed. The cloud can also shoot lightning. Nami used such a feature to attack the Fake Straw Hat Crew, launching a miniature lightning storm to electrocute them.[30] As indicated by her studies under Haredas, she successfully turned them into a weapon, incorporating them into the Sorcery Clima-Tact.

Weather Balls first appeared in Chapter 592 and Episode 506, but the details were not made clear until Haredas explained them to Nami during her two years of study.[28]

Elegant Sunflowers (エレガントサンフラワー, Ereganto Sanfurawā?)[33] are luminescent sunflowers, which have seen in Dressrosa. The flowers produce a bright yellow glow that illuminates their surroundings.[33] They first appear in Chapter 738 and Episode 671.

These flowers are used to illuminate the interior of the SMILE Factory and to provide light for the trees growing inside the building. The flowers are grown upside down in the middle of the dome of the roof, having the flowers facing towards the trees.[33]
