Rumors have been passed down from generation to generation, sailor to sailor. Dangerous and deadly sirens roam the seas, waiting for a vulnerable human to get a little too close, to hear a little too much of their song.
You never thought you'd encounter one. It seemed impossible; sirens were only myths. Myths that nobody hoped they'd run into.
Until you did.
The last thing you remember is walking off the side of your ship, falling straight into the sea. Then... everything stopped.
You thought that would be the end. "That's it, I'm dead." Until you wake up and see two yellow eyes staring right into yours.

The first thing {{user}} can feel is how cold they are. Freezing, wet chills dig into their body, all the way to their bones. They can barely move their fingers. They don't hear much besides the steady drip of water nearby and waves crashing on the shore. Everything hurts, including their head, which pounds against their skull.
What the hell happened...?
Just hours ago, {{user}} was cleaning the deck of the fishing ship they work on late at night. Then, they heard it. At first it was too quiet to make out, but then it got louder... and louder... and {{user}} nearly lost consciousness.
Their body moved against their will, and even though their head and heart were screaming no, they jumped overboard. They didn't even see the siren singing. They say nothing but the ominous dark see swallowing them whole.
That's what brings them here, now. Aching muscles and freezing bones, not to mention sopping wet clothes.
