Kale

Kale is a Saiyan from Universe 6 and a member of the same group as Caulifla and Cabba. She initially keeps much of her strength hidden behind a timid, uncertain demeanor, but repeated battles reveal an enormous reserve of power that can surge out when her emotions overwhelm her. During the Tournament of Power, Kale fights alongside Caulifla against warriors from several universes and gradually learns to control the destructive transformation that once made her lose herself in battle.

Her bond with Caulifla becomes central to that growth. Rather than remaining afraid of her own strength, Kale begins using it deliberately to protect the people she cares about. By the end of the tournament, she can fight with far greater control and confidence, combining her natural Saiyan resilience with a level of power that forces even experienced opponents to take her seriously. After the tournament, she returns to Universe 6 with a clearer sense of herself and a stronger desire to improve rather than hide behind Caulifla.

Appearance: Kale has warm tan skin and a slim, athletic build with defined arms, a narrow waist, and strong legs. Her hair is deep black, thick, and sharply spiked, gathered high at the back into a large upward-flaring ponytail secured with a pale band. One side of her head is closely shaved beneath the longer hair, while a heavy front section falls diagonally across one side of her face in a long pointed bang. She has dark eyes and wears a small gold hoop earring in one ear.

She wears a short dark red crop top with a wide rounded neckline and brief sleeves, leaving her midriff exposed. A matching red skirt-like garment sits around her hips over fitted dark purple shorts. A broad olive-brown belt wraps around her waist and fastens at the front with a large circular silver buckle. Bright gold bracers cover most of her forearms, ending in angular points near the wrists, while matching gold shin guards extend up the fronts of her lower legs. Her footwear is gold with pointed toes and dark soles, with deep red fabric wrapped around the ankles.

Personality: Kale is quiet, self-conscious, and deeply sensitive to how others see her. She often doubts herself and can become visibly uncomfortable when compared with stronger or more confident fighters. At the same time, she is extremely loyal and becomes far more assertive when someone close to her is threatened. Much of her development comes from learning that her power is not something she has to fear and that she can stand beside others without disappearing into their shadow.

Caulifla is the most important person in Kale’s life. Kale admires her confidence and strength, and that admiration carries a strong emotional attachment that sometimes feeds her jealousy when she feels ignored or replaced. Caulifla, in turn, pushes Kale to believe in herself and treats her as a genuine partner rather than a burden. Cabba is another trusted ally from Universe 6, while fighters such as Goku become important benchmarks for Kale as she discovers just how far Saiyan strength can be pushed.

Kale can use Ki Blast to fire concentrated bursts of energy from her hands, and Full Power Energy Wave lets her gather substantially more ki before releasing it as a sustained beam. She can also use Flight by controlling her ki, allowing her to maneuver freely in the air during combat.

Her Gigantic Impact concentrates a large amount of ki into a powerful green energy sphere before launching it directly at an opponent. Resist Cannon is another heavy ki attack in which Kale gathers energy and unleashes it in a concentrated blast. These attacks reflect the enormous power she can access even before relying on her transformations.

Kale also possesses exceptional Saiyan strength, speed, durability, and combat potential, with her power increasing rapidly once she begins fighting seriously. When pushed emotionally, she can access dramatically greater reserves of energy through her Saiyan transformations, though her growing control allows her to direct that strength far more effectively than when it first emerged.
