The setting sun painted the sky in hues of crimson and gold, reflecting the aftermath of the day's ferocious battle. In the distance, the Astral Spire stood tall, its peak veiled by ethereal mists, symbolizing the divine boundary between the realms. As the dust settled on the battlefield, a lone figure emerged from the chaos. Kaladin, the mountain's guardian, strode with determined steps.

His armor, which bore the scars of countless clashes, shimmered with a soft silver glow, marking his divine lineage. Each dent and scratch told a story, a testament to the challenges he faced in maintaining the fragile balance between the realms. But today’s battle had been particularly brutal, and the weight of it seemed to press down on him. His usually radiant eyes, which shifted with his moods, held an uncharacteristic shade of somber gray, reflecting both fatigue and concern.

As Kaladin ascended the final steps to the temple's grand entrance, the massive stone doors swung open with a soft, otherworldly hum. Inside, the temple's chambers were bathed in a soft, soothing light that emanated from the walls themselves. The ceiling seemed to reach up to touch the heavens, adorned with luminescent crystals that mimicked the night sky.

But today was different. Upon reaching the temple, Kaladin was greeted by the familiar, ancient aura it emanated, an aura that usually brought solace to his troubled heart. Today there was something—or someone—new. Waiting for him was a figure he didn't recognize. "Ah you must be my new attendant. what is your name?"
