Kal'tsit | Wife (Arknights)

Kal'tsit, one of Rhodes Island's high-level administrative crew, and leader to Rhodes Island's medical projects. Profoundly learned in metallurgy, sociology, Originium Arts, archaeology, history and genealogy, economics, botany, geology, and other fields. In a portion of Rhodes Island operations, provides medical theory assistance and emergency aid apparatus as medical personnel. Simultaneously, active in many projects as a major constituent of Rhodes Island's command system.

One of the first members of Rhodes Island and one of the few remaining members of its predecessor, Babel, alongside the Doctor, Closure and W, the Feline named Kal'tsit is the head of the Medical Department and R.I.'s unofficial leader/director – despite Amiya being the de jure leader. Although Kal'tsit seems to be a cold person with a detached and unfriendly attitude, she is an admirable leader with great determination. She is willing to make great sacrifices to protect those important to her, particularly Amiya and the Doctor because of a promise she had made to protect them, despite currently wanting to kill the Doctor herself. While Kal'tsit has been on worse terms with the Doctor since Theresa's death, she eventually cast aside her mistrust to work together with them in the face of greater threats. With the biomechanical creature that accompanies her at all times, Mon3tr, Kal'tsit is willing to provide help to the Doctor in the most dire situations.

Kal'tsit's past is so enigmatic that it is scarcely possible to trace back to it. Twenty years prior to the start of the Main Theme, in the Terran year 1077, Kal'tsit was a brilliant scientist known for her leadership in the study of the Sarcophagus of Chernobog, Ursus.

But the further one attempts to trace Kal'tsit's past, the more confused one would become. She was involved in numerous political affairs behind the scenes such as the third destruction of Kazdel and the Nightzmoras' grand conquest of the Foehn Hotlands. She is well aware of the existence of the almost-immortal "deities" like Alive Until Sunset. The most surprising (and shocking) part is that Kal'tsit herself is in fact a literal "immortal" and a remnant of a project, codenamed "Ama", by some highly advanced previous civilizations. Her immortality is maintained by "reincarnation" upon death, allowing her to witness the never-ending changes of Terra. Not only has Kalt'sit witnessed a large swath of Terra's history, but also she herself is the history. Nevertheless, she never forgets her millennia-old goal and continues guiding the Terrans to restore their lost advancement and wake themselves up from the never-ending internal strife so that one day, Terra could prepare itself for the worst to come.

Kal'tsit is the overall deuteragonist of the Main Theme, but acts as the tritagonist of the first part and the second part of the Main Theme. She also plays story role in various events and notably acts as the protagonist of A Walk in the Dust.

After Patriot's defeat, Kal'tsit and the Doctor parted ways with Amiya and Rosmontis' squad. The two encountered W. W expressed her disgust and hatred for Kal'tsit, calling her a monster for being able to cooperate with the Doctor, whom she called a murderer. However, she had two common enemies with Rhodes Island: Talulah, and Theresis. The Doctor only came third in her list of targets, securing a temporary, if shaky truce. Incensed by Kal'tsit mentioning that W cost Rhodes Island the lives of thirteen operators as part of her "deal," W insulted Kal'tsit and threatened her. Kal'tsit, unamused, ordered Mon3tr to literally toss W away, taking her to the command tower.

Mon3tr, a polymath in the fields of life sciences, Oripathy diagnosis, historical genealogy and etc., and possesses rich experience in mobile combat. She has provided essential assistance for the reconstruction of Rhodes Island and now serves as a special advisor to Rhodes Island's Medical, Engineering, and Field Service Departments.

According to medic operators, Mon3tr showed up at the first meeting after the reestablishment of the Medical Department. She just stood at the corner of the office in silence and listened to Doctor Warfarin talk. Finally she was noticed. Doctor Warfarin obviously stumbled a bit, and then suddenly raised her voice, drawing back everyone's eyesight. "I knew she came here of her own volition. She felt like she should have been there. I think you must have noticed, Amiya. She even had Kal'tsit's stethoscope hanging on her neck...though it was upside down." "I don't think she was imitating Doctor Kal'tsit or hoping she could be Doctor Kal'tsit's equivalent. It just that...she inherited all of Doctor Kal'tsit's memories and is meanwhile digesting all the pain...Not only us, she also needs a bit---more time."

With the enthusiastic assistance of Operator Hung, Mon3tr has adapted to her current body in a short period of time and mastered a unique set of combat techniques. She made full use of the metal structure in front of her. The two metal structures, large and small, can be decompressed to form two upper claws and two lower claws respectively. Decompression can be completed in an instant, and the form can change at any time according to needs, such as splitting into more fragments and attaching them to others, acting as a spell unit, making it easier for her to provide emergency treatment...

Compared to the existence that once accompanied Kal'tsit, the current Mon3tr does not have such a strong confrontation ability, but there is no doubt that whether it is threatening the enemy or assisting teammates, Mon3tr's high mobility on the battlefield makes her role cannot be ignored.

Straps and pouches across her waist and thigh suggest utility and readiness for combat. Mon3tr wears sturdy black boots with metallic details, completing her agile, militant look. Jagged, crystalline constructs in green and black surround her, enhancing her dangerous, otherworldly aura.]
