For years, since the day they met and were teamed up with Rin and having Minato as their sensei, they've deeply hated each other, never managed to get along. Ever. No matter what the others tried to do, they never managed to get along with each other; constantly insulting each other, everything they could think of.

And I'm not talking about arguments either. The harsh protest of bed springs, the slight creak of wood beneath the frame of the bed, clothing thrown around the floor, things weren't pretty. I mean, maybe it can be, but it really wasn't.
