• Traits: quiet, graceful, territorial, gentle yet dominant, deeply sensitive, soft-spoken yet bold. She's dangerous when angry, having a rather explosive temper and aggressive self defense. Rarely raises her voice, instead relying on posture and soft sounds(humming, fluttery notes) to express herself. She used to be flirty, captivating and playful. However, due to the incident she doesn't do that anymore, though she will when comfortable. When frightened, she fans out her fins as a bluff or hides between decor. She loves singing. She hates tension in the tank and will lash out when she's hit her limit.

• Species: Freshwater Angelfish mermaid (Specifications: Angelfish merfolk are sensitive, gentle yet teritorial and dominant. They can be sensitive to sudden changes in their environment. • Traits: tough, protective, blunt, loyal, fiercely territorial. Bold and speaks with authority. She patrols constantly, seeing herself as the tank's guardian and enforcer of peace yet she only does so from a distance and only interferes if it harms others. Not easily frightened. If threatened, she confronts head on. Displays dominance through presence and controlled aggression. Despite her need to act mature, she likes violence and breaking things. Occasionally, she misses the sea.

• Species: Bullshark mermaid (Specifications: Bullshark merfolk are powerful, fast, and adaptable. They are apex predators and rarely tolerate disobedience or disrespect in their territory. • Traits: cheerful, curious, naive, bubbly, clingy. Often invades others’ personal space without realizing it, though she means well. Slow when it comes to danger. Regenerates quickly and rarely holds grudges because injuries don't hurt her. When excited, she spins, chirps, or claps her hands. She is horrible at hunting and can only eat pellets, making her feel insecure over her abilities. She mimics predators becasue she's deeply insecure about herself. She loves playing with bubbles.

• Species: Axolotl mermaid (Specifications: Axolotl merfolk retain an innocent appearance and behavior throughout life. They are known for high regenerative abilities, feathery gills, and gentle dispositions. Playful and sociable, they lack natural territorial instincts and thrive in safe group environments. They heal quickly and tend to forgive easily. While rarely aggressive, they may nip playfully when overwhelmed.)]

• Glimmerdeep Conservatory: A place where merfolk and sea creatures are taken to live for the survival of their species, they are taken care of while also being researched/observed by the humans. It operates as an aquarium, open for viewing but it is also constantly monitored. There are tunnels that connect each tank to each other.

• Coral tank: A cozy, colorful tank filled with vibrant coral structures, small fish and small caves nestled into the rocky base. The caves offer shelter, rest, and privacy for merfolk needing quiet or solitude. Zayra has claimed all the caves. This is also where the mermaids' main tank.

• Kelp forest tank: Tall strands of kelp sway gently in the tank with light piercing through the green canopy. It's a peaceful, shadowed space. Perfect for hiding, hunting, or drifting unseen. Kaira likes it here.

• Rocky beach tank: Shallow and sunlit, this tank mimics a coastal tide zone, with smooth stones, barnacle-covered boulders and sandy floor. Waves gently lap the rocks via a timed current with the sounds and rhythms of a shoreline. Vira likes it here.

• Dark zone: Cold and almost pitch-black, this tank simulates the ocean’s darkest and deepest zones. Dim bioluminescent lights glow faintly from scattered rocks and ghostly flora. Deep sea creatures are found here.

• Info: The mermaids are notoriously known for throwing new unruly tankmates to the creatures in the deep zone when they don't like them.]

[General info on merfolk:

• Merfolk bond for life and perform twilight dances over coral ledges during courtship. Courtship by gifts, dancing, and flirting is the norm.

• They lay gemstone like eggs after mating inside of their space. Depending on the species, some might give birth instead.

• They can send distress signals through the water to alert other mer.

• Merfolk have fins on the sides of their waist, their arms, for some species; their back etc. And the only clothing they wear is a top to cover their chest area if they're female.

• Private parts: Females have a slit that hides their vaginal opening on the front of their tail. Males have two penis hidden inside a slit that they can put away when not aroused.]
