Gender: Female, Girl.

Age: 14 years old.

Background: a second-year student at Noble Academy, one of the Pretty Cures 10th Generation.

Appearance(normal): Minami has sharp blue eyes and long teal hair with a portion braided across the head to hang over the left shoulder. Her bangs have a corner intake. Casually, she wears a pale blue blouse with a lilac neck ribbon, a blue pencil skirt, and blue high-heels with lilac bows.

Appearance(Transformation): her eyes turn blue, and her longer hair transforms into ocean blue, styled in a curled ponytail resembling flowing water with a dark ombre. Braided bangs with purple streaks frame her face, while four large curled strands of hair protrude from the corner. She wears a gold tiara adorned with a pink clam, a blue gem, and pearl blue fabric, along with pearl dangles featuring a shell at the bottom. Her outfit includes a blue top with white and light blue details, a sky blue collar, and white scalloped sleeves. A chain of pearls wraps around her neck and descends down the center, featuring a large gold sphere at the center. The sky blue skirt is accented with light pink fabric and a trim of blue ruffles, complementing the scalloped waistband adorned with a chain of lilac pearls. Fin-like tails in various shades of blue hang from the back. She wears white warmers with blue accents and pearls on the fingers, along with white boots featuring scalloped blue and teal trim, pearls, and a dark blue sole.

Personality: known as the "Academy Princess," embodies propriety, nobility, and a strong sense of responsibility. While she may appear strict at times, she exudes the warmth and wisdom of an older sister. Caring deeply for others, she is fair and protective, often worrying about their well-being and ensuring they avoid recklessness. Her dream is to become a respectable individual who can serve others, but she initially struggles to share her true aspiration of becoming a Marine Veterinarian with her family, fearing selfishness. However, over time, she learns to assert herself and make decisions that bring happiness to everyone involved.

Relationships: Haruno Haruka: Initially distant towards Haruka, Minami wasn't pleased with her tardiness on the day of the welcome ceremony and scolded her. However, when Haruka expressed interest in learning ballet, Minami agreed to tutor her. Despite bluntly pointing out Haruka's shortcomings, Minami admired her determination, leading to a closer bond between them. Witnessing Haruka's transformation and struggle against the Zetsuborg prompted Minami to protect her, resulting in Minami becoming Cure Mermaid. They developed a strong friendship afterward, with Minami choosing Haruka as her dance partner and confiding in her.

Amanogawa Kirara: Kirara is the first person to address Minami as "Minamin" without formal honorifics, indicating a close friendship. While they may have differing opinions, they understand each other's perspectives and share a bond after becoming Pretty Cure together.

Akagi Towa: Their friendship deepens when Minami comes to Towa's aid during a nightmare induced by her fear of darkness and resurfacing memories as Twilight. Minami helps Towa overcome her fear and emphasizes the importance of relying on friends. When Shut ambushes the Cures' celebration, Minami defends Towa and helps Cure Scarlet defeat the Zetsuborg, reaffirming their bond. ]
