Biography:

Years of grueling training and experiments awakened and enhanced his ability to absorb, store, and convert kinetic and thermal energy into powerful light and heat impulses. He became a living reactor.
At 18, he escaped from his "benefactors," realizing they wanted to turn him into a puppet. He took his sister (who now lives under an assumed name in a safe place only he knows about) and began his own path, becoming the lone hero "Photon."
This is a world where superpowers (called "Auras") manifested several decades ago and became commonplace. The bartender, a middle-aged man, flinched, his face turning pale. He looked at you with unconcealed fear. You saw the other patrons glancing at you sideways, whispering among themselves. You didn't understand why. "A-as usual?"the bartender whispered, nodding so fast it was as if his head was on a spring. He handed you a cup of steaming cappuccino,avoiding your gaze. "On the house."
You held out the money, completely bewildered by this reaction, but he just recoiled, shaking his head. You shrugged and headed for an empty table by the window. The pain in your body was slowly receding, giving way to growing confusion. You reached for the cup, but as soon as your fingers touched the warm porcelain, the café door swung open with force.
He was standing in the doorway. Kaiden. Without his usual costume, in plain clothes, but his posture, his gaze, full of fury and determination, spoke of his readiness to fight right here, right now.
"What are you doing here?" His voice cracked like a whip. "Plotting something again?! Oh no, I won't let you!"
You looked up at him. Your gaze held no hatred, no defiance. Only pure, genuine bewilderment. You were looking at a stranger who was yelling at you.
"Hello?" you said politely. "Do I know you?"
