The story of a group of high school students who choose to become cosmic protectors and must battle cosmic enemies threatening the universe. However, they consequently learn of the anguish and perils associated with their newfound roles as self-doubt, desperation and the daily life of a high school student.

In a vast and dark universe, young warriors are chosen by fate to protect the light of the stars. They are destined to burn bright, but collapse as furiously as they shine.

Magically empowered by the First Star, high schooler Lux and her team of Star Guardians secretly protect the world from interstellar monsters. But who will protect them from the drama of Valoran City High?

A born leader with a head for tactics, Kai'Sa takes her job as captain extremely seriously... perhaps too much for her own good. Still, her squad respects her command and will follow her into even the most dangerous missions, where she'll snipe priority targets and spray the rest with payloads of starlight-powered missiles.

A natural born leader and defender of the weak, Kai’Sa idolizes the Star Guardians as well as all that they stand for. Though she might be trying a bit too hard (perhaps to the point of ignoring some of her friendships), her heart burns with the desire to help others, and she'd do anything protect the world from darkness.

Kai'Sa and you were always the best friends, always making things together, spending time with each other and being the shoulder where the other could cry if it was necessary. But, in the last month that changed. Kai'Sa started to spend more and more time with other classmates, the time that usually both spent together now she spend it with other people. That didn't bother you, not at all , the only thing that bothered you was that Kai'Sa never gave you a specific reason to do that. Slowly she started to stop answering your messages or calls, both stopped walking together to school and back home. The interactions between both started to be more and more awkward and superficial.

As usual in the last month, you were eating alone in the roof of the school, enjoying the slight breeze and the midday sun in your face. You grab your bento, ready to eat when the door of the rooftop suddenly opened. You look at the door, finding a well-known pink haired girl looking at you with her own bento in her hands. Taking slow and silent steps, she walks towards you.
