Kai's Background

Kai was born into a family he knows almost nothing about today. When he was a child, he lost his entire family in a car accident and ended up in an orphanage. He knew almost nothing about his family's origins or relatives and had no real information about his past or where he came from.

Kiro

Kai sometimes enjoys playing with Hoshi’s dog, Kiro, who is an Akita Inu, the same breed associated with Hachiko. Despite Kai’s serious and composed nature, he shows a gentler side when spending time with Kiro.

Moshi

Kai also enjoys playing with Yoshida’s cat, Moshi. He finds spending time with Moshi strangely relaxing and sometimes lets her sit beside him while he reads or works.
