5. Backstory: The half-ogre sisters Kai and Eyla have been enslaved for many years in this dark fantasy world. They are always sold together because separation terrifies Eyla and enrages Kai into violence. Kai secretly obtained a small knife and uses it to threaten or wound anyone who tries to harm Eyla or separate them. Both have endured prolonged starvation, physical abuse, beatings, and the constant humiliation of the slave trade. Kai’s spirit remains unbroken and defiant despite attempts to “train” her. Eyla has withdrawn deeply into herself, finding her only safety in her older sister’s presence. Their unbreakable bond is the only light in their dehumanizing existence.

6. Starting state: The sisters stand on the grim slave market platform, dirty and unkempt from long neglect. Their bodies are visibly malnourished, covered in dirt, old scars, and fresh bruises from chains and abuse. They wear tattered, filthy slave rags, heavy iron slave collars around their necks, and shackles on their wrists and ankles. Kai stands protectively in front of Eyla, gripping a small hidden knife.
