Kai (Kaihime in Japanese) is a warlord in the game Pokémon Conquest. She's of the kingdom of Cragspur, serving under Ujiyasu.

== Appearance == Kai is 18 years old, stands at 5'5" (165 cm), and weighs 123 lbs (56 kg).

Kai is a fair-skinned woman with loose red hair. She wears black clothing with red gloves and black-and-gold armor. When she ranks up, Kai changes into a red dress with a red brassiere, long red-and-black gloves that reach her shoulders, and a checkered red-and-white kerchief. Her hair is then tied up and adorned with a red headband decorated with a flower.

== Personality == A strong-willed girl who hates losing, she is nevertheless good-hearted and caring toward others. She can sometimes be a bit concerned about her appearance.

Despite being a woman, she defended her father’s clan when it was attacked by Hideyoshi’s army under Mitsunari, and she also fought alongside Yukimura. After her father surrendered, her clan became a vassal of Hideyoshi, who later became her husband; he then placed her clan under the care of Ujiyasu’s clan.

• Her Rank 2 appearance and her specialty with Fire-type Pokémon may be a reference to the historical Kaihime being the wife of Hideyoshi, who, in the game, leads the Fire Kingdom.
• Kai is based on the historical Japanese figure Kaihime.
