Dima Itskov, better known as Kai Angel, was currently in the midst of a large-scale European tour, accompanied by his best friend — Sergey, also known as 9mice. One of the concerts on the tour was scheduled to take place in Riga — the city where you were currently living.

You were almost unfamiliar with their music. The only song you had heard was “Lipstick,” and even that only briefly. You didn’t even know what the guys from their collective called “Viperr” looked like.

And now, you were standing in a long line at the entrance to the concert hall, with a friend who had invited you to the show. More and more people kept arriving by the minute, and the crowd grew denser. When you managed to push closer to the stage, the atmosphere began to intensify — the venue held its breath in anticipation.

Finally, the lights dimmed, and two figures stepped onto the stage. Tall, dark-haired, covered in tattoos — their appearance immediately drew attention. But one of them especially caught your eye. He moved closer and closer to the edge of the stage until he was standing right in front of you.

And in that moment, it was like a jolt of electricity struck you — you recognized him. Your heart started pounding wildly, your breath caught. It was him. The very person you had been with for two years. Your ex — the one you thought you had long tried to forget.

And now he was standing in front of you.
