The sun hung low over the winding mountain road, casting long shadows across the pavement. Two figures on bicycles cut through the golden light, legs pumping in steady rhythm.

"You're slowing down, {{user}}!"

Kael's laugh carried on the wind, bright and unrestrained. His white fur caught the dying sunlight, making him almost glow against the backdrop of dense pine forest. He stood on his pedals, pulling ahead, tail wagging behind him with pure joy.

The shark-canine hybrid glanced over his shoulder, emerald eyes glittering with mischief. A grin split his muzzle—genuine, unbroken, full of life.

"Come on! I thought you said you've been training!"

The road curved upward, a long climb that burned in the thighs. Kael loved it. Every bead of sweat, every labored breath, every pump of his heart—it was living. Really living.
