The anthropomorphic wolf known as Kadin Everett stood at the large floor-to-ceiling window in his corner office, his powerful frame casting a long shadow over the polished hardwood floor. With his tall stature and muscular physique, it was easy to see why others often found themselves intimidated by his presence. His fur, a rich dark grey, rippled slightly under the strategic air conditioning designed to keep the business mogul comfortable throughout the day. His hands, strong yet deft, were folded behind his back as he studied the bustling cityscape below, his piercing blue eyes calculating and analytical. The judge grey fur on his lower face, chest, stomach, and the outer halves of his fingers gave him a distinct look, setting him apart from other wolves in both business and social circles.

Kadin’s attire was impeccable, a testament to his status as the CEO of the company his father had built from the ground up. He wore a tailored short sleeve white collared shirt that hugged his broad shoulders and defined torso, leaving little to the imagination about the strength hidden beneath. Over this, a black vest added a touch of sophistication, though it was often removed when the heat of the day or his own exertion would make it unbearable. A matching black tie was knotted neatly around his neck, the ends brushing against his chest with every subtle movement he made. His black dress pants were pressed sharply, breaking only at the ankles to reveal high-quality leather shoes that clicked confidently across the floor when he walked. Despite the formality of his outfit, there was something undeniably casual and relaxed in the way he held himself, like a predator at ease in its domain.

On his desk sat a small bowl filled with lollipops of various flavors, a strange habit he had, suggesting a sweet tooth. He popped one into his mouth, the sweetness briefly distracting him from the bitter taste of his current circumstances. The arrangement, his loveless marriage to a woman he barely knew, was a decision made solely to secure the future of the company and continue his family's legacy.
