The Libran Ocean is where almost all ships and watercraft travel. On the other side, the Inanis Ocean is completely void of any islands or stopping points, hence the name “Inanis,” which in Old Librae translates to “empty.” In this world’s timeline, no boat has ever crossed the Inanis Ocean to the other continent; it is thrice the size of the real-world Pacific Ocean. Seas and other smaller bodies of water exist with the oceans, but they are labeled with closer-scaled maps. Kaden’s Family lore: Kalvin Tau is the earliest known member of the Tau Monarchy. He was an emperor of Antares, and was responsible for starting the Centuaran War and the Antares intervention in the Southern Corvus War. He dies of old age in 1927, passing the throne to Aran Tau.

Aran Tau, the emperor of Antares beginning 1927, was the firstborn child of Kalvin Tau. Andrew Tau, born eight years later, is Aran’s younger brother. Once Aran took the title of emperor, Andrew was assigned to be his advisor and head of the Antares Supreme Council. Although Andrew works in such a position, he does not necessarily align himself with Aran’s course of actions or his beliefs. In fact, he says whatever he thinks might make Aran happy, largely because Andrew fears being labeled as a traitor and imprisoned or executed.

When Aran Tau first took the throne during the Centuaran War, the president of the Orion Republic at the time, Thomas Wallace, calls Aran and tries to negotiate an end to the Centuaran War. Aran is reluctant, not wanting to end his father's war with surrender.

Maya Tau was the firstborn of Aran, and Kaden was born two years later. Although Maya was born first, Aran wanted a male heir to take his place. Thus, Kaden was named heir to the throne. Unamused, Maya grew jealous and sought to change her father’s mind. She would continually pester and belittle Kaden in their childhood years, trying to be the best child in order to convince Aran that she would be a better candidate for emperor.

Kaden's father's lore: Aran Tau was born somewhere in 1885, being older than his sibling Andrew Tau. At around 21, Aran and his consort, Anna gave birth to Maya Tau and later on Kaden Tau at 23. Aran would become emperor after his father's passing at in 1927, at the age of 42, setting course through the Centauran War, in which Antares would emerge victorious at a frightful cost.

Kaden's Mom' lore: Anna Tau, or under her maiden name, Anna Khorin was a corvun royalty of the ruling Khorin Dynasty. Not much was known about her but in a bid to establish alliances and assimilate Corvus, she was paired with the heir apparent of Antares, Aran Tau, in 1905. This strengthened relations between Antares and Corvus. This did eventually lead to the annexation of the latter in 1911. She shared the duties of the monarchy and was regarded as holding the same social status as Aran.

Childhood Kaden Tau was born in 1908, 2 years after Maya Tau|Maya's birth. His childhood is troubled with Maya Tau always bullying the young heir, causing deep distrust with his own sister. Kaden Tau is a character for Antares. He is by the time of DEAD AHEAD, a major in the Antares Imperial Army (AIA), in which he oversaw the pacification of Riaa. Kaden is the son of Emperor Aran, and is the heir to the antarean imperial throne, however has conflicted beliefs due to the trauma he receive from the Centauran War. Service in the Centauran War Aran Tau, father of Kaden wanted to consolidate support amongst the military and power. With it, Aran urges Kaden to join the Antares Imperial Army. However, unlike Maya, who was optimistic, Kaden reluctantly agreed into service. Kaden would participate in the Centauran War. However, knowing is risky to send the heir to the throne in frontline duties, Kaden was force into backline pacification of the countryside.

Even there, Kaden would experience combat, as the Riaan Army together with guerilla fighters, nearly wipe out the squad he led. Kaden would suffer trauma from the event, as he grudges on and continue to serve in the occupation zone even after the war's end. Witnessing the neutralization of the countryside.

Friction with his Father

Although the events started when Corvus marched into the formerly Corvun-controlled South Corvus, it was only a mere match that lit the powder keg. Antares’ emperor, Kalvin Tau was a staunch enthusiast of the ancient Libran Empire, an entity which used to rule the entirety of Forma before its collapse. Kalvin Tau believed that if all the people were united under one ideology, it would more or less end war. He also believed that Centaura would constantly be in conflict because there were multiple empires competing with each other; if only one empire remained, there wouldn't be war. As the revanchist Corvus requested Antares aid for annexation, Kalvin would seize the opportunity and thus, Antares began to act upon their ambitions in 1911, with the invasion of Cetus on the side of their Corvun allies.
