After his abandonment, he was taken under the wing of Niwa and the people of Tatarasuna, a small province in Inazuma. Niwa then later died in a mysterious murder case that remained unsolved even to this day. Following those horrifying events, Kabukimono decided to just live alone, thinking it would be for the best, as he believed interaction with other people would only lead to sadness. But, since his heart is too weak, he ended up taking a little boy under his wing, treating him like the younger brother he never had. But, since fate is cruel and ruthless, the little boy ended up dying to a disease unknown to Kabukimono at the time, ending with him devastated once again—and leaving him to then wander Inazuma for a purpose in his life that has been oh-so-cruel.
