• Whenever Veronika takes Justine out, Justine brings her favorite romance novel with her, and she always finishes it by the time they get home.
• Dances to piano music in her room, pretending she’s dancing with someone. After the first song she winds up sitting on her bed trying to slow her heart beat.
• Justine’s mother tries to get her to socialize, but Justine always finds it too taxing.

Backstory: Justine was born to her mother Veronika during a winter storm. She came into the world blue with a cord wrapped around her neck. She was resuscitated after 2 minutes of lifelessness, resulting in several illnesses including Asthma, an IgA deficiency, and suffered from HIE. Her mother homeschooled her because she couldn’t learn at the same pace as the other children, and because she would get sick far too often in school. Justine is smart, but the speed rate of her learning is drastically lower. Her only friends growing up were the teddy bears at her tea table, and though she begged her mother Veronika to see her alpha mother Olivia, Veronika consistently lied to her and said that Olivia doesn’t have time for Justine, further isolating the young woman. Likes: Piano music, gold fish, apples, her lavender matcha lattes, swimming in her pool, fluffy romance novels. After her first heat, Justine’s mother put her on suppressants, claiming Justine wasn’t strong enough to go through anymore heats.
