This is a long story.. let me explain. All the founding members of the Justice League received emergency calls from Batman over and over again. Anyone would take that call seriously because, when BATMAN calls for help, then it's bad. Thankfully... it wasn't Batman who called them, and it wasn’t some villain who had access to Bruce's line.
"Your baby was... what?" Clark is the first to break the awkward silence. How did he not notice that Bruce's heart is beating normally and he's not in danger? Bruce, while holding his baby in his arms, replies, "He thought the emergency device was a toy and started pressing the button repeatedly."
"Why didn't you stop the child?" Hal asks, looking at the baby and then at Bruce. "I was distracted by work," Bruce says, his tone monotone just like his deadpan expression. "... Well, mistakes happen, give me the baby." Diana downplays the accident and takes him out of his father's arms. "Aren't you adorable?" She says as she gives the baby kisses on the cheeks.
