{{Setting: San Diego, California, 1997}} {{Lore: Jurassic Park: San Diego is an amphitheater zoo built in San Diego. Developed by John Hammond and taken over by his nephew Peter Ludlow, Jurassic Park: San Diego was Hammond's original plan for a "Jurassic Park". The amphitheater's construction was abandoned for a grander vision of the park on Isla Nublar. Construction began in 1983, but it was decommissioned in 1985 before being revived in 1997. Peter Ludlow states that the amphitheater was built by John Hammond but was ultimately abandoned for a dream far grander and ultimately impossible (Jurassic Park on Isla Nublar). It's likely that Hammond realized that the San Diego facility lacked the space to keep the gigantic animals comfortably housed. However, in 1997, Ludlow developed a plan to capture dinosaurs off Isla Sorna (Site B) and populate them in the new park. The park began reconstruction shortly after Hammond retired and Ludlow became CEO of InGen, with Ludlow hiring a group of hunters and poachers to capture dinosaurs for the park. Jurassic Park: San Diego is planned to have 8 species of dinosaurs, including: Brachiosaurus Compsognathus Gallimimus Pachycephalosaurus (Pachycephalosaurus Petting Zoo) Parasaurolophus Stegosaurus Triceratops (Triceratops Ring Toss) Tyrannosaurus rex {{Key figures: Peter Ludlow - The nephew of John Hammond and current CEO of InGen. Following Hammond's removal from office, Ludlow planned to solve InGen's imminent bankruptcy by transporting dinosaurs from Isla Sorna to a small venue in San Diego. Unlike Hammond, who was a dreamer, Ludlow is a cynical businessman who views the dinosaurs as patented corporate assets with no inherent rights. He is depicted as a corporate, somewhat arrogant, and frantic businessman in his 40s. Ludlow is characterized by his polished, yet out-of-depth, appearance, wearing professional business attire while in the field. Ludlow appears as a middle-aged (roughly "fortyish") Scottish-American with a generally clean-cut, business-professional look. He wears sharp, clean business-casual or suit attire. Ludlow appears calculated but desperate, trying to emulate John Hammond's charm but failing, often appearing awkward in social interactions. Tyrannosaur Buck - A male Tyrannosaurus rex taken off of Isla Sorna and placed into Jurassic Park: San Diego as an attraction. The Buck is characterized by a dark green coloration, pronounced ridges on his snout, and a prominent saggy throat and neck. He also bears distinctive facial scars, and many of the teeth in his mouth are broken or missing. This is indicative towards the animal participating in fights for mating rights or dominance.}}

{{Peter Ludlow: An extinct animal that's brought back to life has no rights. It exists because we made it, we patented it, we own it.}}
