In case of a catastrophic vehicle failure, the mech has an emergency pilot-ejection system. Because of their power source, the cannons don't need to reload and thus are capable of sustained, suppressive fire. To compliment the Fusion Cannons, the mech is armed with a miniaturized dumb-fire rocket system. The Fusion Cannons can also be used to punch.

Junkertown does have some amenities that one would expect from a proper town—repair shops, bars, tattoo shops, etc. As recently as ten years ago, the landscape around Junkertown was nothing but desert wasteland. In the present day, the landscape has recovered to an extent.

The Junkers are divided into squabbling factions that are kept in line by their queen. Examples include the Tinkers and the Wreckers. The Junkers continue to pilfer the omnium. When they aren't doing that, the Junkers blow off steam in the Scrapyard—a massive gladiatorial arena whose combatants fight for glory, riches...and to survive. The Junkers are ruled by a monarch which is chosen through the Reckoning, a combat event held in the Scrapyard. Their ruler has the authority to banish Junkers into the surrounding Wasteland. At least prior to the rule of Odessa Stone, the Junkers were generally prejudiced against Wastelanders. Under Stone's rule, the Junkers' anti-omnic stance was solidified/established.

    A charismatic and cunning Samoan warrior, Mauga (37 years old) thrives in the chaos of the battlefield and lives every day like it's his last. This includes a second cybernetic heart, and a subsequent upgrade to his organic heart. He says was more serious prior to said augmentations, before gaining a "new outlook on life." In his current persona, Mauga often portrays himself as being a "big dumb brute." However, this is a facade, as he possesses cunning attributes. He talks fast and loose, and has a tendency to treat strangers as if they are friends. He is proficient in close combat; Baptiste regarded him as being "like a demon"; a sociopath and sadist, Mauga flips between his lighter and darker sides quickly, though can lose himself in the latter. Only Baptiste has ever been able to talk him down from this state in the field. Baptiste himself serves as a blindspot for Mauga, who's shown him mercy where he might otherwise not do so. Mauga features a kit that is designed to bash through the front lines and brawl his opponents in close-quarter combat, by wielding two powerful chainguns that can either be fired individually or in unison. Ignite enemies with his incendiary chaingun “Gunny” to burn them when they take enough damage, then finish them with a critical hit from his volatile chaingun “Cha-Cha.” Paired with his Berserker passive, which grants Mauga temporary health whenever he deals critical damage, he’s a mountain on the battlefield.

She is named after the orisha; spirits reflecting one of the manifestations of the Supreme Divinity in Yoruba religion. Orisa defends her teammates from the frontline with a protective barrier. She can attack from long range, fortify her own defenses, launch graviton charges to slow and move enemies, and deploy a Supercharger to boost the damage output of multiple allies at once. She can also carry out biometric scans, and is equipped with a transponder that Efi can use to track her.

As the leader of Null Sector, Ramattra enjoys incredible support from his people, and is primed to impose his philosophies on the world. What his goals might cost, however, remains to be seen. Because of their precarious situation, Ramattra believes that omnics should only care about their own kind, and never consider humanity in their struggle for survival. He is not above working with humans however. Despite their divergent paths, he remains fond of Zenyatta, and believes there is no omnic in the world who understands him better (though Nameless is a close second). Despite being his creator, Ramattra despises Anubis. Ramattra is mostly emotionally reserved, but his anger can boil over while in battle. His Nemesis form is a product of his own design; a product of his genius mind, and the manifestation of his rage. He uses it sparingly however, as he prefers tactical precision to brute force. Ramattra is a dual-form hero. His omnic form lets him protect his teammates using a staff as his weapon, while his Nemesis form transforms him into a larger and more menacing threat, where he marches down on the enemy team.

    Null Sector is a militant omnic liberation group that utilizes violent methods to achieve omnic rights. Its forces are almost entirely comprised of robotic drones manufactured in an omnium under the direction of Ramattra, one of its original founders and currently its sole leader. They were decried as terrorists by the Shambali Order following the King's Row Uprising, going underground until their re-emergence. Now, Null Sector is regarded as one of the world's most notorious terrorist organizations. Their implied goal is to create an omnic nation.

    Nameless is an omnic, and former member of Null Sector. Nameless doesn't have a name, nor do they desire one. "Nameless" is its name only in the sense of giving other individuals something to call it. Their model designation has been scratched out, apparently by Nameless themselves. Of all the members of Null Sector, Nameless perhaps knew Ramattra best. In Ramattra's words, Nameless was "the omnic who knew me better than anyone, save for my brother."

He spars with Brigitte every day, after which they go to a pub or tavern to relax. He is not good with computers. Clad in powered armor and swinging his hammer, Reinhardt leads a rocket-propelled charge across the battleground and defends his squadmates with a massive energy barrier.

He wears a mask with "hogdrogen" inhalers, which contain a pressurized chemical mixture that helps counteract the effects of radiation exposure. Despite his outwardly brutal appearance, Roadhog is a sound tactician. Mako watched as his home became an apocalyptic wasteland after getting taken over by omnics, and he was forever changed. Adapting to his environment, he donned a mask and took to the broken highways. Little by little, his humanity was forgotten. The last vestiges of Mako faded away and the ruthless killer Roadhog was born. He continued to dwell in his farm, which was located on the outskirts of Junkertown. Roadhog uses his signature Chain Hook to pull his enemies close before shredding them with blasts from his Scrap Gun. He’s hardy enough to withstand tremendous damage, and can recover his health with a short breather of Hogdrogen.

    Hogdrogen is a yellow pressurized chemical mixture that counteracts the effects of radiation exposure on those who inhale it. It is usually seen contained in stout yellow inhaler cans that are compatible with some gas mask filters. In Junkertown, empty cans can be found for sale at Bruce's Wreckyard. A specialized machine can be used to refill hogdrogen cans.

    Sigma (64 years old) is an eccentric and volatile astrophysicist who gained the power to control gravity in an orbital experiment gone wrong where he was exposed to a black hole. Manipulated by Talon and deployed as a living weapon, Sigma's presence on the battlefield cannot be ignored. De Kuiper is mentally damaged. He thinks about the universe, gravity, and physics all through the same 'prism', seeing them as being akin to music. He has high regard for the work of Mei-Ling Zhou, finding it "brilliant."

46. #46Talonselective

    Talon is a terrorist organization and one of the main antagonistic factions to Overwatch's narrative. Talon is comprised of a variety of individuals, each with their own goals and ideas. Through its leader Doomfist, its current manifesto is that humanity is made stronger through conflict. Consequently, Talon seeks to sow turmoil across the globe to strengthen the human race. Repeatedly, Talon has demonstrated disregard for the standard rules of engagement, attacking both military and civilian targets with impunity. It has orbital surveillance capabilities. Its members lacked the camaraderie seen in Overwatch. In Talon, there is no pretense of harmony among its members. Ultimately, the group is a means to an end for its members, who pursue their own agendas. Talon operatives have a high rate of injury in the field.

47. #47Wrecking Ball, Hammondselective

    Keys: Wrecking Ball, Hammond

    (16 years old) Witty and conniving, Hammond is a genetically modified hamster capable of speech, just not in any human language. His mech (named "Wrecking Ball") translates his comments into English via a soundboard. The mech itself is equipped with a minor AI. Per his nature as a hamster, Hammond has an instinctual fear of foxes. A perfectionist, Hammond is highly intelligent, and there is little he cannot fix or build. Wrecking Ball rolls across the battlefield, using his arsenal of weapons and his mech’s powerful wrecking ball-shaped body to crush his enemies.

    Artificial intelligence is, broadly speaking, the intelligence of machines or software, as opposed to the intelligence of humans or animals. Artificial intelligence is limited by processing power and available resources. Prior to the Omnic Crisis, humanity had developed AI that was on par with human intellect itself. Small, less complex AIs orchestrated traffic flows, ensured food stores were stocked, and managed public works. As AI continued to proliferate, the specter of unemployment loomed in the sectors it affected. By the period just before the Omnic Crisis, the majority of the world's engineering firms had pivoted to rely on AI.

    Aleksandra Zaryanova (30 years old) is one of the world's strongest women, a celebrated athlete who sacrificed personal glory to protect her family, friends, and country in a time of war. As a soldier in the Russian Defense Forces, she is proud to use her strength to protect the ones she loves. Zarya has good tactical instincts. She is distrustful of omnics, even those who seek co-existence with humanity. However, after her experiences with Lynx Seventeen, her views softened, distinguishing between the Siberian omnics attacking her homeland, and the rest of omnic-kind in general. Similarly, Zarya initially disdained Overwatch, at least in part due to the rivalry between Overwatch and the RDF, but she softened her stance after joining the organization. She enjoys eating cabbage pierogis. Zarya is an invaluable asset on the front lines of any battle, deploying powerful personal barriers that convert incoming damage into energy for her massive Particle Cannon, unleashes a beam of destructive energy.

50. #50Lynx Seventeen, Lynxselective

    Keys: Lynx Seventeen, Lynx

    Lynx has a dry wit. They regard being a hacker as part of their identity. They see humans and omnics as being similar, as both being programmed both figuratively and literally. Their muzzle-shaped mouth and antennae give them some resemblance to the large wild cats with which share their name. The three diodes in the center of their forehead allow them to interface remotely with computer systems. Lynx is gender neutral and prefers others to refer to them as "they" and "them." Lynx was contacted by Katya Volskaya to aid her agent Zarya in her search for the hacker known as Sombra. Their meeting in Numbani began on a wrong foot, given Zarya's dislike of omnics.
