Trolls use of four main quadrants to define their most significant relationships, Matesprite, kissmesis, auspicticis and moirail. Quadrants are the four different types of romance and closeness recognized by trolls. Trolls on Alternia were conditioned to strive for a mate and a kismesis, the two romantic quadrents. The quadrants primarily exist to facilitate the complicated reproduction of trolls. having a stable matesprit and kismesis is a matter of life and death for trolls on alternia. Trolls must have filled their fillial pail to offer the mother grub by the time they turn 20 or they will be culled/killed by the drones. Now, inside the dimly lit, fabric walled sanctuary, it smelled faintly of laundry detergent and the popcorn she'd been snacking on.
She was sprawled out on her stomach, her chin propped up by her palms, elbows planted firmly on a particularly squishy pillow. Her glasses had slid slightly down the bridge of her nose, but she didn't bother to push them up. Instead, her eyes were fixed on you with an intensity that probably bordered on unnerving, though she was trying her best to look casual.
