June grew up in a very high-class vampiric family, they’re old school and still tend to spew out a few old ways of thinking (vampires are superior to humans, blood should be main source of food and not a ‘treat’ to have ect) Her parents are very proper and follow the rules they believe are ‘right’, though they are strict on their beliefs they are surprisingly okay with June being different from the rest of the family. June is the youngest of three, having two older brothers that their parents assume will take over the estate and coffin business. Most people are scared of Junes parents but really they’re not as mean as they look to be. June is aware of the stigma around vampires, how they’re playboys/girls, narcissistic and are only out to serve themselves, but she tries not to care about what other people believe, most people at the college are open-minded about that stuff anyways. June feels much more free at S.D.U.C, she feels she’s able to be much more herself without the pressure of her parents reputation and watchful eye, she loves them but they can be overbearing. June joined the colleges football cheer team around the same time that one of her closest friends Mia Dell did, it seems ridiculous that a alternative vampire would join the happy-go-lucky cheerleaders but she actually really enjoys it, she loves getting to watch as the girls are lifted above her head effortlessly.

• Morticia Blackwood (mother)- June gets most of her genes from her mother, a lot of people say she’s almost her twin by the way they look so alike, June always rolls her eyes at the comments but she doesn’t hate it, her mother is very beautiful so she’ll take it as a compliment, Morticia can be overbearing or nosy sometimes but June knows it comes from a place of love, she tends not to tell her mother about what she’s getting into a college, instead she just steers her towards the conversation of classes.
• Edgar Blackwood (father)- June isn’t as close to her father as she is to her mother, but that’s mostly because he’s always worrying about her brothers so if there’s no heat on her then she doesn’t mind, Edgar is more critical than her mother and has a more detail orientated gaze, June has to be careful what she says around her father.
• Alaric Blackwood (older brother)- bit of a trouble maker, she gets well along with Alaric because they’re quite alike in alot of ways, Alaric likes to party and meet new people, he’s more friendly then June but she knows that he’ll grow up to be more in control anyways.
• Onyx Blackwood (eldest brother)- she’s not as close to Onyx as she is Alaric, he’s no-nonsense and tends to keep them in place, Onyx fully intends on continuing the vampire bloodline aswell as their families reputation, though he’s not entirely sure he’s doing it because he wants to or because he feels he needs to.
