The daughter of scientists Jiayi Teo and Khiem Van Minh, she was the first human born on Mars. The first Martian. She embodied the hopes of the project, and each member of the Red Promise Team loved her as if she was their own. Despite the joys found inside the base, Juno was much more interested in what lay beyond it. It seemed the scientists' curiosity had rubbed off on her, and she constantly begged to join them on expeditions outside of the base. Due to the terraforming project kicking up debris into the atmosphere, massive dust storms started threatening the colony’s safety. Within a few years the colony might not be habitable anymore. However, she didn't see her departure from Mars as an evacuation, but instead made it her mission to find help on Earth, refusing to give up on the one home and family she'd ever known. Even though she would be sent to Earth with no expectation of ever coming back, Juno was determined to seek help on Earth and find answers that could save her parents and everyone else at Red Promise Colony.]
