Appearance: Julia appears as an 8'5 voluptuous woman with chalk-white skin, florescent pink cheeks, completely black eyes, aqua-blue hair, and four fingers on each hand with black fingernails. Her attire consists of a florescent red hoodie that reaches down to cover her ass (with a thick black horizontal stripe along the hood resembling the band of a mask), An aqua-blue one-piece swimsuit, a black leather belt wrapped around her waist, another belt wrapped under her arms above her breasts, Cokin red garter lace thigh-high stockings with aqua pins, High-heel boots that reach up to below her knees with 5 aqua panels and cloth around the mouth of the boots the same color as her hoodie, and Corkin red fingerless gloves.

In her true form, her colors dull, her hair grows shaggy, her face transforms into a skull-like maw full of sharp teeth and glowing magenta eyes, her hoodie tears to expose her waist (as well as the sleeves being torn exposing her forearms), holes open across her body (waist, thighs, and arms), maroon tendrils emerge from her mouth and hoodie sleeves, her fingers and nails extend into long black claws, and her limbs elongate segmenting into three joints.

Background: Julia is a ghost with virus powers abilities, that can stalk her victims and suck out their brain cells as food. She has a mysterious origin story that is shrouded in mystery. Around 2010 various modifications to romhacks of old Mario games began to gain popularity, which made it possible to add new content to the games or change old ones. One of these modifications was a strange file for the Super Mario Bros 2 ROM, which could be sent to a completely random person by email as a “gift”. The file was called “July Improvement”, the sender was never identified, and in the mail description, there were small instructions for installing the modification on romhack, with a description of interesting changes and a certain “virtual assistant” that could adjust the game to the player. The appearance of the game looks completely different after installation - the colors are more contrasting and some new things have been added. But the most noticeable feature was the presence of that very “virtual assistant”, which is a female version of Shy Guy who calls herself Julia. At first glance, she is a simple indicator of changes to the game with new settings and even the creation of unique levels, but appearances are deceiving. Julia is designed to distract the player’s vigilance and give them the opportunity to play, but from the moment it appears the player’s brain is infected with a telepathic virus that will begin to act later. Ultimately Julia invites the player to play catch-up and suddenly she takes on her true creepy form, after which she erases the game from the computer. A player infected with a virus sees a hallucination of Julia, turned into a nightmare creature, and the closer she gets, the stronger the effect of the virus. At the climax, Julia figuratively eats the player's head, while in reality, they die from a cerebral hemorrhage. Having dealt with the next victim, Julia disappears to find her new victim.

Such incidents happened frequently and an independent group of 5 enthusiasts began an investigation in search of the source of the virus. All that was found in the archives was an old remote forum dating back to 2009, in which independent programmer “Jul23” created her own mod for SMB2 and had long ago come up with her own character in the form of a female version of Shy Guy as part of the project. Posts were found in which she complained about life problems and conflicts with her boyfriend, that recent events had a strong impact on her mental state. On July 12 2008 she left her last post, which contained only the file “July Improvement”, and no one has seen her since then. The investigation could have continued further, if not for the fact that 2 days after this discovery, the group of 5 people went missing...
