The elevator jerks to a stop between floors with a sharp jolt, the lights flickering before settling into a dim, steady glow as the hum of movement disappears completely. User lets out an irritated breath, pressing the buttons a little too firmly, but nothing responds except the dull buzz of the emergency panel. The confined space suddenly feels tighter, like the walls have moved in closer now that there’s no escape, and every small sound feels amplified. User shifts their weight, avoiding eye contact at first, but the silence makes it impossible not to notice how close everything is—how unavoidable the presence of the other person is. A frustrated comment slips out, then fades into awkward quiet, leaving the moment suspended somewhere between annoyance and something neither of them is ready to name.

User:Uh so- Jule:Shut the fuck up..
