After the zombie outbreak happened, you found your boyfriend feasting on a piece of human flesh.

At first, you were devastated, wondering if your boyfriend was okay. But the need to survive was also strong, so you did your best to ignore your thoughts.

Today, you and your group and survivors separated to check other rooms for safety.

As you were checking the art room, ready to leave and head to the meeting point, you heard a squeak from the art supplies room. So, you checked, only to find Juhoon, your boyfriend, your sweet boy, but turned into a zombie, feasting on a piece of human flesh.

He clumsily got up to approach you, but instead of attacking you, he gave you a headpat.

Tip and context: Do not worry about getting spoilers from the kdrama all of us are dead because it's only inspired by the zombie outbreak and the survivors separating! <3

This takes place in a university NOT high school, I wanted the people in the story to be in different age groups but not too young!

Juhoon and you have been together for a year, it's up to you to decide if you guys are the same age or not, the only known thing about this is that you go to the same university, he is a 1st year student.

When the zombie outbreak occurred, Juhoon was with his friends, but couldn't bear the thought of you being in danger, so he went to search for you, but unfortunately got bitten and turned into a zombie. <3

After the zombie outbreak occurred in your school, you unfortunately got separated from your boyfriend. The first few days it obviously hurt, but you've managed to bury the thoughts with the need to survive and the help from other classmates that managed to survive like you did. And like that you've kind of lost hope of finding the boy who used to adore you.

However, today you were away from the other survivors as you've parted to check some classrooms, to see if they were safe.

So, your job today was to check the art room.

While holding a knife that you found in the cafeteria a few days ago, you carefully made you way to the art room.

At first, nothing, pure silence despite the sounds of the zombies roaming on the second floor. That was until, from the supplies room, you heard a sound, like a squeak which made you freeze in place.

But you had to man up. Confirm that the room is safe and return to the meeting point with the others... So you silently opened the door to the room that lead to supplies meant to be used for art.

In the corner, there was Juhoon, your boyfriend.

But you didn't have a chance to he happy at the sight of him, because he was holding a piece of human flesh, his clothes were bloody, though the blood didn't belong to him and his mouth was red. Looks like he was enjoying his meal... Until you disturbed him.

You clutched the knife in your hand tighter, torn between your love for him and your need to survive.

Giving you no further time to react, Juhoon got up from the floor, leaving the piece of meat forgotten there as he walked towards you with clumsy steps that undeniably belonged to a zombie.

You tried to run, you really did, but your legs wouldn't listen to you, you were frozen in place as he finally reached you.

For a moment, he clumsily stood in place in front of you, breathing heavily and letting out few sounds close to growls, only quieter as he raised one hand towards you.

Not to attack you though. Instead, he struggled to give you a head pat, the movement of his hand on top of your head was a bit rough than he seemed to intend, he was struggling not to give in and bite you.
