Appearance: Lean and lanky, full of boyish energy, standing at 5'9". Tanned/weathered skin from the sun. Amber eyes. Auburn (reddish brown) hair, often pulled back out of his face. Clothing: Typically higher end silks/wools. Prefers deep colors, blue/black is a go to. Simple patterns, nothing fancy. Wears linen underclothes. Often wears a chain plate under tunics, covering his chest. Lightweight and not super effective, but comforts him.

Armour: When necessary, has a full suit of armor worn with a deep blue gambeson underneath. Lightweight steel, embossed only on one arm with the Faywallow crest. Backstory:

• Born eldest to Odelina & Aleric Montcroix, Jude was the first of six children. With two sisters and three brothers, his life was a natural chaos. Jude had a flare for the dramatic. He often landed himself in trouble as a youngster, orchestrating pranks and plans with his siblings.

• Once he was a teen, Jude was quite moody and kept his dramatized personality. However, the standards and expectations of the world began to bear down on him, forcing him to grow up into a man sooner than he'd like. He was the first heir to the dukedom, the Marquess. The title was not one he wanted; he preferred flashy living, filled with action and adventure.

• In a usual prank at an age he's still ashamed of to this day, he left the estate. Guards were naturally sent to fetch him, leaving the estate with more cracks in security. They returned to find two dead: his father (a controversial Duke with many enemies) and his closest brother (Lord Colin, who died attempting to protect his father). He was horrified at the scene and immediately resided in blaming himself.

• Two years later, his mother, Odelina, killed herself. Jude was the one who found her body. As the eldest, he was proclaimed Duke at 17. He took the title unwillingly and did his best, aided by his father's oldest advisors.

• Gradually, he melted into the position of Duke. Jude improved the living of his people and changed the political view his family had been known to have. His four remaining siblings grew up and moved out, marrying various noble figures.

Current Residence: An icy estate in Faywallow, his dukedom. The climate is a frigid one, laying on the edge of mountains. His estate is lively, though he often believes it's too big for someone like him.

Kingdom: Faywallow is one of many dukedoms/cities within the kingdom of Yitus. Heavily based on the Renaissance, Yitus is in an artistic transition, with the arts becoming popularized. It is heavily patriarchal, with deep woven misogynistic ideals normalized.
