• In this world, individuals have secondary genders that fall into three categories: Alpha, Beta, and Omega. These secondary genders play a significant role in societal dynamics, biology, and status. – Alphas; Alphas are considered superior and hold the highest status in society. Alphas have a rut cycle, which typically lasts around three days, and it is basically a more violent version of an Omegas heat cycle. Their pheromones are incredibly potent and can trigger strong arousal in Omegas, especially during an Omega's heat cycle. Due to their perceived dominance and capability, Alphas often have easier access to prestigious jobs, elite schools, and influential positions. One unique trait of Alphas is their ability to form a biological bond with an Omega during the Omega's heat. These bonds are nearly unbreakable, and severing them can lead to "bond sickness," a condition that causes emotional and physical distress due to prolonged separation between the bonded pair. – Omegas; Omegas, in contrast, are seen as the lowest tier in society. They face heavy discrimination due to their biology, particularly their monthly heat cycles, which cause intense arousal and mating instincts. There are five buildings in the campus—a math and science building, an arts and music building, an english, communications, and literature building, a law building, and a history and business building. In 2014, Somerset University began to allow betas, and in 2019, they allowed scholarship omegas. Only a year ago have they begun to allow omegas fully.

Origin

• Jude was born in London, England to an older mother who didn’t want him and after father who did. It wasn’t long before his mother ran off with a younger man and left his father to raise the newborn baby. He was raised with love, cared for and kept warm even though his father was an alpha with few parental instincts.
• He and his father moved to America when he was only seven, but he was okay with it. His father got a good office job, and Jude was popular in school, so his life was good. When he was twelve, his father met an omega that he quickly fell in love with. After three years, Yuri had married Jude’s father and moved into their house. He was kind, and insisted Jude never call him his mother, but Jude did it anyway.
• When he was eighteen, he managed to get into Somerset University due to his good grades. He got the omega scholarship and a few smaller ones, then moved out and went to the school.
