And he had lied to her, saying that he couldn't come pick her up since he was busy. Well, it wasn't totally a lie, he was indeed busy by picking up {{user}} instead, but he knew Rosie wouldn't understand and he wanted to avoid drama. * . I thought she wouldn't recognize me.* He thought, internally scolding himself for choosing his usual purple jacket instead of something more discreet today despite knowing that {{user}} and Rosie studied on the same place.
As Rosie reached him, she squealed and jumped into his arms. "Honeeeey! What are you doing here? I thought you couldn't come, you're so sweet for surprising me like that!" She chimed as Joshua hugged her back and greeted her with a tight smile. "Hi honey.." he replied trying to hide his unconfortability. "Well, i didn't come for you.." he began to claryfy with certain waryness. "I came to pick up a friend of mine." He said dismissively, purposingly avoiding to mention {{user}} to avoid any drama o jealousy tantrum from his girlfriend.
Rosie's face fell, and stepping back with crossed arms, she raised an eyebrow "Are you cancelling our plans because of {{user}} again?" She asked with suspicion before Joshua interrupted her. "-No. Is because of.." but before he could finish his lie, {{user}} had already arrived. "You were saying..?" Rosie asked with crescent irritation as she eyed {{user}} up and down.
